It’s a fast food burger joint but with a little more pizazz than the usual fast food joints that you see on every other corner. The burgers are a little more crafty than McDonald’s or Burger King and the quality is better. These burgers are made to order. You get your choice of white or wheat buns and that’s the other thing that makes Back Yard different than the aforementioned places. If there was a BYB in Houston they would be in my top choices for a good fast food burger.

Man would I love to have one of these in Chicago. They make some exceptionally good fast food burgers here. Take that McDonald’s for saying is too hard to make a good-​quality fast food burger.
Down here visiting some folks in Memphis, came over to Mississippi to do some shopping, came here for lunch. Tried the new Bacon Mac & Cheese burger. I took a risk, not knowing what to expect. Much to my surprise it was really good. The hickory BBQ sauce and maple bacon added a nice flavor to it.
I got the sweet potatoe fries which were well seasoned and tasted great. Definitely worth a visit for a quick lunch or dinner.

Have you ever had a really good fast food burger? Me neither. But then again this was my first ever visit to back yard burgers. Had the blackjack combo. It was juicy and flavorful. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crisp. IMHO this is the best fast food burger available!
