I needed a new mattress, but kept putting off shopping for one. I found the whole process daunting. I have back problems and knew this was not going to be easy for me. My husband, who can sleep on anything, came along to help but would have been happy with whatever I chose. I need not have feared. Jeanne was there to save me. She gave me a lot of information and helped me narrow down my options to two choices. Along the way I learned from Jeanne that I had been sleeping on too many pillows and that my preference for a firm mattress was stressing my joints. I finally made my selection and because the labor day specials were still in effect we saved some money and Jeanne even offered us an interest free payment plan. What I had dreaded was over and done; a new mattress was scheduled to be delivered at my convenience, and I felt I had found a new friend in Jeanne. Even the delivery was a pleasure: on time, delivery men who were very good at what they did and were a delight to deal with. Everything was perfect! And then we went to sleep! …not so perfect! This was not the bed we had selected. I questioned my sanity, my memory, double checked the model number. When my husband(he, who can sleep on anything) said the bed was awful and that he had been«falling out of bed» all night, I knew I wasn’t crazy. I called Jeanne immediately to find out about switching to the other mattress I had considered, knowing there would be an additional charge. She, wonderful person that she is, said there was clearly something wrong and to let her try to swap the mattress with another of the same model. This would not cost anything extra! There would always be the option of picking something else. We agreed to do a swap and another mattress was in my house the next day. This one was exactly like the one in the showroom. It has been sweet dreams ever since. I never did find out if the first mattress had been mislabeled or simply defective, but the true test of any business is not only how good their products and services are, but how well they handle a problem. A 5 star rating is just not enough in this case… Jeanne gets a 10 from us. Thank you Jeanne and thank you Sleepy’s

We recently purchased five mattresses, box springs, frames, etc. from Sleepys. It was Labor Day and we expected to pay as little as possible, but still emerge with high quality beds. Our expectations were met. Ken, our salesman, was informative and worked extra hard to ensure our happiness. We had to take two separate deliveries and thus also had a chance to interface with Jeanne who also went above and beyond to accommodate our schedules. Finally, the delivery team was quick and neat, much to my wife’s satisfaction. Thank you Ken and Jeanne for making this transaction as financially and logistically as pain-free as possible. We’re fans. Update: After sleeping on one of the queen-sized mattresses for several days, I found that it did not offer the support I needed for my back, i.e., I had an aching back in the morning. I contacted Sleepy’s to inquire about the store’s «Comfort Exchange» program in spite of it being a week past the cut-off date.(It was three weeks since I took delivery.) I was encouraged to stop in the store where Sal graciously called customer service/They reminded him that I would have to pay $ 150 to exchange the mattress and another $ 99 for delivery! Huh??? News to me. The«Comfort Exchange» program, much to my surprise and astonishment, would cost me $ 250…and this was after spending more than $ 5000 on this order, and untold thousands more with Sleepy’s over the years. Obviously, I’m not a happy camper, and still have as sore back. Star demotion for Sleepy’s.

great experience… Sal, our salesman, was absolutely aces… my girlfriend and i tested at least 6 to 7 mattresses. he knew everything about each one and explained the differences. we made an informed & confident decision based on his explanations and recommendations. a mattress, as crazy as it sounds, is much like buying a car… you wanna know exactly what you’re getting yourself into and what you’re spending your money on… actually you probably spend more time on the mattress then you ever spend driving, why not make sure it’s what you really want? we have ZERO buyers remorse… couldn’t be happier. and the delivery guys were professional as well. in and out, and took my old mattress and box spring too. you won’t be seeing us soon, but in a GOOD way!

Excellent service(above and beyond what I would expect from a mattress store). Jeanie was our salesperson and she spent a considerable amount of time helping us find the right product — testing several samples, going back and forth, giving us great information. Very patient and full of knowledge. I would definitely go back to this Sleepy’s.
