I first visited Ananas when my husband purchased a gift certificate for me for Valentine’s Day. I received a package for massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. It is the perfect gift for me, because I tend to not take enough time for relaxation. I was VERY happy! I called that day to schedule a massage and facial. When I called to make my appt, I told the woman on the phone that I got a gift certificate for VDay. She asked what it was for, so I read exactly what it said. She booked my appt for the next day. I was very excited! My massage was fabulous, relaxing and just what I needed. The therapist was attentive to my needs and asked a few times if I was ok. I appreciated that and was enjoying the pressure as well. Next I had my facial, however, I thought it was just ok. I didn’t feel relaxed or chill as the Esthetician talked excessively. I am the first to be a chatty patty, however, this was not the time or place. She went on and on about celebrities who she treats, and all about her history with her life, and really didn’t get to fully enjoy my treatment. When I was leaving, I felt like my entire upper body and head were soaking wet. I was just going home, but I have never left a facial this soaked. It was just sloppy and messy. A few weeks later, I was in need of a manicure and pedicure. I was excited that I still had some left on my Gift Card. I greatly enjoyed my pedicure, and it was extremely relaxing. I sat back and read my book and just relaxed! I thought the manicure was also nice, and enjoyed myself. When I got home, I didn’t do too much of anything. This particular weekend, we didn’t have any house guests, so my cooking and cleaning were less than what I normally do. I noticed that the next day, a few of my nails on my hands were peeling/chipping. I was a little disappointed. I thought to myself, that in the city, I get a manicure for $ 12 and it NEVER does this. I typically cook and clean during the week, and my polish stays almost perfect for 5 – 7 days. I truly do not mind paying a little extra for something, but if it chips the next day, then I am not happy regardless of what I spend.

I absolutely love it there. I noticed some negative reviews. i would like to say that it is under new management and from the front desk all the way back through to the Nail techs and facial and massage therapist everyone is very pleasant and helpful! I always feel that everyone is happy to see me and the services are great! Marina and Holley have both contributed to my skin looking better then it has in years. And both Marcella and Costanza are awesome with manicures and peda cures. Now they even have Yoga. I would definitely recommend checking out Ananas!

ITISEXPENSIVE!!! But, common, we are in the Hamptons… Marcela is the best nail technician I’ve ever had. It is one of the rare cases when person has a passion about her job. Seriously best pedicure EVER. I would never think to pay $ 50 for pedicure, but I had a gift certificate so I am afraid now I am hooked and have to… I found out that they have good specials, so I might go for a facial or a peel next week.

I will never go back. Went with my daughter for a facial was rushed and the attitude of the staff was arrogant! Go down the street to La Carezza they were wonderful.

I visited Ananas twice for a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. I was very happy with the services I received but you can’t get through the front door without experiencing the snottiness and attitude of the front desk and owner of spa. You’d think that the customer service would be much better considering the area and prices they have for their services. The nail technicians are excellent and detail-oriented and my eyebrow wax looked great. However, the whole time I was in there I felt angry at the treatment I received from the front-desk staff. Also, you can tell that the employees are under a huge amount of pressure and you can feel the tension in the air. This is not something that you want to experience at a day spa where you are trying to relax. It’s almost like the staff are afraid to talk to each other or to the clients. It’s the strangest vibe I’ve ever got from a day spa. If it happens to go under new management, I’d definitely try it again. For now, bye bye Ananas.
