Great place. The owner was incredibly helpful. The store is bright and clean. deals with a sensitive product, sexual and romantic pleasure, and they handle it really well. They speak to you frankly and cheerfully about what things do. I would think everyone would feel comfortable here. I bought a birthday present for my wife. Hope she likes it.

The James Bond of sex stores! I love this store, and calling it simply a sex store isn’t fair. It is so much more. Everything at Please is geared toward open dialogue and healthy attitudes about sex. It has something for everyone… and amazing toys that you don’t see in most places. This is a place that I would like to see stay in the neighborhood!

Been here twice. Officially my favorite of the shops in NYC. Sid has warm, passionate and contagious energy. She makes her customers feel comfortable and welcome. A wonderful offering of sex positive products, but SID, what a treasure! She is very empathetic and knowledgeable. I mentioned my hysterectomy 5 months ago and she shared practical advice that even made my squeamish fiancé comfortable about having sex after surgery. As a woman you feel safe; as a man you don’t feel like a creep — a difficult task in a place fully of sex related paraphernalia.

From the outside you would never know this is a sex shop, it looks like a nice little boutique shop, but indeed it is a sex store, but done tastefully, with class, and in a boutique kind of way, even though it has huge glass windows, and people can see you shopping, the worker or owner, doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable, rather you are interested in all the new high tech stuff they have here. Which she was more than welcoming to show us what they were, and describe how to use them, because believe me this stuff isn’t the stuff they sell in those sleazy sex shops on 3^rd avenue. They also have an assortment of sex cards (for birthdays, anniversaries) sex games (done tastefully) plenty of books, some also for teens that has questions regarding their bodies, also toddler books, there is a lotion, bath salt, and massage oil table. To the far back you will find the handcuffs, whips, and bondage stuff, not a long section, just enough. They have toys for men, and for woman, I suggest couples go there to explore new things in the bedroom.
I’ve mentioned before about the great sustained service, and must mention it again, the woman helping us was very knowledgable, patient, and spent more than 40 minutes explaining stuff to us, thanks to her we walked out with some new goodies!

Love this place. Something about it is so welcoming that I was just walking by and ended up actually stopping at the end of the block to turn around and go back to it. The woman working there, who seemed like the owner, was incredibly helpful, friendly, respectful, and sex-​positive. Less corporate feeling than Babeland but still just as good if not better inventory.

Being a frequent Babeland customer I was a bit iffy about trying out this place when my wife suggested it. I’m very happy that we did try it out. This small pleasant store provided us with exactly what we needed without feeling overwhelmed. Siti was very helpful, insightful & easy to talk to. Please has definitely found themselves two new frequent shoppers.

Having never used adult toys in our relationship, we were a bit unsure as to what products we wanted/​would enjoy. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely welcomed and comfortable. Sid was extremely knowledgeable, and truly took the time to help us and teach us about the products.
We might even consider going to an upcoming class to get a little more educated.
The store is very put together, is bright and friendly, and there is a great product selection. I highly recommend stopping by!

I have walked past this shop multiple times and apparently I’ve never actually looked to see what it is, and I’m so pleased that I did today! I usually go to Pleasure Chest because I appreciate the staff and the products, but I think I’ve been converted to Please after today. The girl working in the store was informative and we were able to discuss and compare multiple products. The store is very open and bright, and completely positive in all aspects. I love how the products were displayed and there is a good variety, depending on your tastes. I am so pleased to find such a great local store and plan to return for future needs.

Great well-​executed female run, non-​creepy sex-​positive store with tons of inventory. Good atmosphere, and good service.
They have funny sex-​positive stationary, nice body-​care products, an entire well-​curated multi-​genre books section and then all of the good horny adult toy stuff from recognizable brands, well merchandised in a nicely laid out store in South Park Slope.
People who like Babeland, The Pleasure Chest, and Purple Passion will also like this adult store (and will maybe like it even more once they discover it’s distinct perks). Good for their selection of adult toys, BDSM stuff, and all the bells and whistles you’d hope for without them having bunk foreign factory made cheap inventory. Not that theres anything wrong with cheap adult novelties such as piña colada flavored un-​trustworthy condoms. That’s just not the vibe here.
Quality is! Quality location, information, inventory, and the icing on the cake is the attractive confident staff like Jess and Sid who will actually explain stuff to you. This store is exemplary in a multitude of ways, both explicit and implicit. Five stars!

Friendly neighborhood sex shop. Every time I’ve been in here the staff have been super chill and helpful. They have everything from cute greeting cards, books about big boobs, lube, vibrators, toys for men, to leather gloves with spikes in the palm.

Staying in Brooklyn for two weeks, I kept walking by this beautiful little store.
The first things I saw from the street were a series of sex and body-​positive books for boys and girls. I was immediately impressed.
Midday yesterday, I finally had free time to stop in and browse. The owner was friendly, even charming. The store is elegant and not at all creepy like traditionally adult-​type stores. There are no heavy curtains at the store-​front windows. Just open and bright and honest about sexuality and sensuality.
The owner instantly made me feel comfortable and we chatted about products and classes at Please.
Do yourself a favor and stop in to this positive place. Really charming and fun.

This new female owned sex boutique opened a few weeks ago in Park Slope. The owner, Sid (I think she said that was her name), was very welcoming and warm. She was very open and answered my questions very positively. The store has a wonderful literature section filled with books for how to talk to your adolescents/​kids about sex/​puberty, various erotica, BDSM education, loving massage techniques, loving communication, and books for LGBT identified people.
This store also carries lovely bubble bath, salts, lotions, massage oil, candles shaving brushes and shaving cream.
One can also find a modest, but noteworthy collection of JimmyJane vibrators, dildos, and masturbatory toys for men, too! Condoms, lube, nipple pasties, and rubber paddles and toys which explore touching/​teasing.
This new shop is so clean, smells wonderful, and is very sex, and communication positive– I liked it more than Babeland. No pressure to buy, and with upcoming educational classes being taught by social workers and health educators, I can’t wait to go back!
