Skin Care by Marina

My review from her old place:
The first time I met Marina and became her client was my freshman year of college in Hayward, which was in 2010! By my junior year, she moved to New Jersey, and I had to resort to other estheticians. When I found out that Marina had moved back to the bay area recently, I was ecstatic! Yay, my favorite esthetician is back!
Marina has always done her work at home, since I’ve first became her client — flexible time schedule, more privacy, and at a low cost! She’s fast, thorough, and professional. Also, easy parking right in front of her home. I normally go in for a brazilian ($ 35) and underarm ($ 10) and I’m out in 30 mins. She does other services as well — such as waxing elsewhere, or facials, but I suggest that you give her a call first. I’m so happy that she moved to South San Francisco, because I just recently moved back from school and she’s close by to me again! Less commute ;)
If you’re worried because her work is done at home, don’t worry! Her home is very clean, and there is a private room you enter to let all that magic happen. Marina is easy-​going and great to talk to — it’s one of the things I look forward to when I see her! The one thing I love about Marina’s business is that she has not changed her price and have always kept it at a low cost — which is what a broke college student like me looks for. If you’re looking for the same services, you are most likely to see double the price at other salons.
STORY TIME! The place I used to go to was European Wax Center, if there’s one thing I did not like, is that they never did a thorough job during the wax. I would end up finding small batches of hair when I got home. I ended up with an ingrown hair that would not come out (ended up inside for 3 – 5 months?). When I asked them about it, they only recommended me to buy their serums. When I had an appointment with Marina, she pointed it out to me and I said yeah, I’ve had it for awhile. She used a small tool and removed the hair for me! The thing was like 2 inches long or something. but I am happy that it is finally gone. Thanks Marina! Marina makes sure that the ingrown hairs are gone, after she’s done — told you she’s thorough!
Totally recommend Marina — she’s great! I’d recommend her to my friends too, if they’re willing to drive all the way here, haha.
