Put aside the food. I find the name of this business to be offensive. It is very clear they are playing words off of a racist statement«Me So Horny» often directed at Asian women. But I’m sure the Liberals won’t complain about this because it’s smack in the middle of a liberal town. I wouldn’t spend a dime here and looking at the photos of their food it looks like greasy crap. What the hell were you thinking when you came up with this name??? It’s indefensible.

I got the garden veggie burger without the cheese and it was so yummy. The burger was really flavorful and everything tasted superb together. I’m so happy I tried this truck, it’s so good! :)

This truck literally makes me so hungry. The Hawaiian sliders were so flavorful. The chicken meat was shredded and juicy. I asked the chef how it’s prepared and he said the chicken is broiled, shredded, and then mixed with the dressing. I guess that’s what keeps the flavor in and the texture so moist. A slider order comes with two burgers. These sliders are not small and when combined are the equivalent of one burger. I would definitely visit this location again as the food was delicious and the owner was very helpful. For example, he convinced me to keep the fried onions instead of the grilled balsamic as he said it would ruin the flavor of the dish.

Over priced. Over cooked meat. Under cooked fries. If you want a $ 20 burger and fries this is the truck for you. Garlic fries was just minced garlic on top of my fries. The burger was a little too salty and over cooked. The fries were under Cooked. For $ 20 you’d think they’d create a perfect burger. Epic fail.

Woah, what did I just eat? They told me they were sliders. Cali sliders. They were wrong. What I got was a pair of the most scrumptious cow morsels I’ve ever eaten. From the first bite, it was a love affair. Carnal at times, delicate when not.. . I never knew it could be this way.

I found this truck at OtG Menlo Park. I was integrated with their special, but decided to go for the slider sampler instead. Service was friendly by the two employees– but it did take some time to order. They had a sign requesting patience as all orders are made from scratch. The sliders came out in about 10 minutes and were quite tasty! The complex flavor profiles were complimented by the delicious, fresh buns! I loved both the beef burger and the chicken offering! The short rib slider was interesting but quite rich!

i get it now! wondering what all the hype was about this truck but i totally understand! i ate from the Me So Hungry truck and thought they were the same but oh no totally different owners and you can tell by the quality of the burgers and by the service. i had the duke and the reg fries and my friends had the KTM and the other sliders(cant remember the name) and garlic fries and sweet potato fries and the duke was the most amazing burger i have ever eaten in my life! the amount of fries they give is crazy but you def get your moneys worth. i wish i could chase this truck on a daily basis but be warned! if you see the green monster on the truck RUN! This one has a pink burger eating monster and look for the TOO! Me So Hungry Too is TOO good! im not sure why anyone would give this truck a 1 star. if i could give 10 i would!

I like sliders because you can enjoy a bunch of different flavors in the same meal. It’s not really a value because you can purchase two Super Burgers at Super Duper(which basically adds up to a pound of meat) for the same price as the 3 slider sampler. But still worth indulging when you want to mix up your meal with some nontraditional burgers. Cali Slider: Traditional bacon cheeseburger slider. Tasty. A bit too much lettuce for my linking though. KTM Slider: The most novel slider with big hunk of tender slow roasted short rib. It had some Korean-ish flavoring on the outside, but the inside was pure indulgent beef. Very rich. Flyin’ Hawaiian Slider: Subtle. Pulled white chicken meat with a hint of pineapple. Some light sauce. Felt a tad dry; maybe they should use some dark meat or more sauce? Onion Rings: It’s been ages since I’ve had onion rings; I feel like bougie burger places in San Francisco just don’t bother. Crispy battered exterior and soft interior. Tasted more like batter than onion, but that’s fine in my book.

Love the food and love the workers! Just like any other good business, it’s employees are the cover of their business. Let’s get down to business, to defeat the hungry! They have many selections such as: sliders, burgers, shoe string fries, sweet potato fries, and a daily special(changes everyday). All of which I have tried and must say that they are all delicious! Not only can you get delicious burgers/sliders but you can get some amazing crispy fries to go along with them! My favorite items on the menu that I usually get are: Monster Burger with a side of shoe string fries. And I must say, I am never disappointed. Overall, if you want to experience delicious on-the-go burgers than this is the place! The only downside is tracking the food truck.

We have tried this truck several times and find that the burgers taste almost as good as the lovely fragrance that emanates from the truck’s vent(trust me, it smells so good that it’s hard to walk by without being enthralled with the lovely fragrance of their premium beef being seared on a screamingly hot griddle). The chicken sliders are good but the sweet sauce is so sweet that you don’t really taste anything else. We now avoid the chicken and only order the beef, Cali Sliders, which are very yummy but they consistently undercook them. We asked for well done the last time they were here and got a rare burger. This week I very clearly asked for medium well(hoping that it would get their attention) and I heard the order taker clearly call the order to the cook as Mid Well, unfortunately this one was also rare(check out my photo) and my wife did not want to eat them. I ate them and enjoyed them but they were on the ragged edge of being raw. I’ve eaten and enjoyed gourmet burgers that are served rare and medium rare for several decades now, I’m familiar with them and I know that they can be safe. The problem is that gourmet restaurants buy specially flash frozen beef to make it safe for rare burgers. This truck makes it a point that they do not use frozen beef at all. I understand that they are going for a gourmet experience(and at these high prices I expect them to be doing so) but I expect them to know which beef to order if they are going to serve anything other than well done burgers. The flavor and presentation is quite good but I had to deduct two stars for consistently and significantly undercooked burgers. I did speak to the staff about this but they seemed to be clueless about how flash frozen beef is used in gourmet restaurants for dishes that feature ground beef cooked less than well done. I gave them two months to see if we just ran into a small glitch but it seems to be their standard to serve burgers that are much less cooked than we asked for.

The amount of fries they give you is shocking. It’s easily enough to serve as a meal for two, or as a side for four. I wish they had the sweet potato fries, but a hallmark of foodtrucks seems to be «we’re out of that thing you heard you should try.» Every truck, like all the time. And we were at this truck only an hour after they started serving, and business, it was not booming — so I have no idea why. In any case.. . The sliders were pretty good — the Flyin Hawaiian was surprisingly my favorite — nice hits of ginger with a nice, subtle, sweet flavor throughout. The Cali had good flavors,(nice char on the meat, the blue cheese was great) but I couldn’t taste the balsamic onions at all, and it was pretty dry — ketchup may have helped, but the truck was all out.(!?) We also tried a buffalo chicken slider which I just did not like at all, which is weird, because I love buffalo anything. I mean Frank’s red hot sauce — I put that shit on everything. Sadly, not a win. All in all, I’d consider it a solid slider offering.

My family tried this truck at an event at Woodside school in Concord and their food is bomb good! Cali Sliders with sweet potato fries mmm mmm good! Portobello mushroom burger on point too. Seriously wish I’d had more room in mah belly to order another plate of Cali Sliders and fries, but I’ll just have to check out where to find the truck again. I know they are in SF a lot, and it was very cool to have them out our way in Contra Costa, so I hope they come back again soon. I may not be able to wait though, I’m cravin those burgers again NOW!

Served raw and completely undercooked hamburger. It was absolutely disgusting. See the photo. I would have asked for something else but the customer service is so horrendous that I didn’t bother. I was greeted with«which one?» as they looked impatient. They were so rude. I saw one woman drop her food as they were handing it to her from the window and he didn’t give her a replacement. He said the truck was going to leave so they didn’t have time. Quite possible the worst in terms of quality and service. I wish there were 0 stars for a rating. In a place like SF with plenty of good food trucks this one doesn’t deserve time of day.

I’m sad because even though we just left, I know that I’ll be thinking of their burgers for the next week until their truck comes back! My husband and I decided to go with the sliders. It seemed logical enough due to the fact that we have never experienced the Me So Hungry truck before. My husband got the«KTM» slide(sweet braised short rib meat, crispy onions and a yummy sauce) and the sweet potato fries(with garlic, shredded parmesan and parsley). I ordered the«Cali» sliders(ground beef patty, balsamic onions & blue cheese sauce– I think). We each traded a slider between the two of us so that we could have a variety. Both turned out to be superb! Bravo! I can’t wait to visit again. I voted my choice of burger(Cali slider) to be the best out of the two. Fries– also a nice treat but it’s the dipping sauce for the fries that made them extra special and different from other fries. I’ll be back…(Arnold Schwarzenegger voice)

Real mixed feelings about this truck. We were searching for a food truck to do our wedding, and we stumbled upon this truck at the Treasure Island Flea Market. There was a huge line. It took forever. But the food was totally worth it! Great sweet potato garlic fries… cooked to perfection. The sliders, amazing. The staff… So helpful! Oh My Freaking God we found our wedding caterer! So we emailed that night… and waited for them to get back to us. We followed up a week later… and after a few days, Jerry got back to us. We set up a phone call with Jerry, and rescheduled it, and then rescheduled it again, and then finally got a chance to talk with him. He had an extremely hard time wrapping his head around the event we were trying to hold(300 person buffet with a limited menu, served over 1.5 hours). He struggled to figure out the logistics, how could they feed 300 people in that short of time??? After repeated calls and emails, and a quote that was over $ 20 a person after travel and tip for 3 sliders, some fries and a salad… we decided to look elsewhere. It just seemed like the event was too big and too much of a pain for this truck. So, great food, great staff… but a pretty lack luster owner and extremely slow and poor follow up.

Decided to order KTM sliders: marinated short ribs topped with pepper jack cheese, crispy onions and spicy crème fraîche from here while at Off the Grid: Sunnyvale’s soft launch. It had the longest line, so I was thinking about going somewhere else, but ended up coming back in the end. While the sliders were good — lots of juicy meat and really flavorful too, the guy in the truck wasn’t so nice. After I gave him my order, he gave me my total [about $ 9], and I handed him what I thought was a $ 20, but turned out to be a $ 1 because I grabbed from the wrong end of my wallet. Instead of telling me I made a mistake, or even just laughing, he held the bill outside the window and stared at me. Without a word. Then, when I realized my mistake, I took back the $ 1, and held up the $ 20, but he was busy doing something else. I waited at least 30 – 45 seconds for him to take it. But he wasn‘t paying attention, so I started talking to my friend. Not too long afterwards, he took my $ 20, gave me the change, and asked for my name. I couldn‘t hear him because it was so loud outside, so he repeated his question with the most exasperated look. At this point, if I hadn‘t already waited in line for so long, I probably would have canceled my order. Anyway, he hands me my ticket. Less than 5 minutes later, my order is ready and he hands it to me with annoyed glance. As mentioned earlier, the sliders had loads of juicy meat in them. The buns were nice and toasty. There wasn‘t very much crispy onion though, and I couldn‘t taste the spicy in the crème fraîche, but the meat was awesome. So in summary: pretty good food, fast delivery, but bad attitude. I get that he was busy, as most people seemed to be ordering from his truck, but just because you‘re already making the most sales doesn‘t mean you can get away with being rude.

Another great Off the Grid moment with the most interesting(menu) lineup at MeSoHungryToo! The best indecision option will relieve your wallet of a few bucks shy of $ 20 but all worth it. This gives you a pick of any two of the Small Monsters, loaded Parmesan«shoe string» fries and soft drink. Too bad Jerry ran out of Flyin’ Hawaiian sliders for the evening… I’m a disciple no matter what. To be continued…

MSHT rolled into my neck of the woods recently and had a pretty large line. When I got to the window I managed to score the last of the KTM sliders. Woot! The short ribs with the caramelized onions on the soft rolls really hit the spot. $ 9 for those two maybe a bit on the high side but tastes good is what’s really important and that it did. Next time Im going for one of the fuller burgers…
