Lui Elaine, DDS

Nobody likes going to the dentist. Ugh. I do like Dr. Lui herself, though. She’s sweet and funny. Her office is very small — just her and the office manager from what I can tell — but it’s nice and clean and bright. Dr. Lui does a thorough job with cleaning, and she likes to give her patients a ton of info on how to care for their teeth properly. I have a lot of confidence in her and her expertise. She even does all of the cleanings herself (she doesn’t defer it to a hygienist). She also asks about your overall health too, which shows that she has a good sense that her patients are the sum of all their systematic quirks and not just another mouth. My only complaint is that she could stand to be a little lighter in the touch… I’ve never been to a dentist who’s made me bleed so damn much! Oy!
