New owners food just isn’t as good as it use to be. The pizza was really salty with barely any sauce.

My review is going to be for the NEW owners of Caterina’s. The old owners pizza was good, but the new owners have improved the food greatly. There are now more options, each made fresh. The owner is very friendly also.

Delicious pizza. Big slices which are very flavorful and are also reasonably priced. Owners/​workers are very friendly. Eating space is big and clean. They also serve Italian ices and ice cream which are both delicious. Check it out for both a satisfying treat to your tastebuds and wallet.

I love this place, the best pizza in Queens! The people there are great, and delivery is really fast.

This a family owned place and their pizza is amazing so don’t let some fools tell you it needs more seasoning cause that only means they’re used to eating pizza that’s not made by Italians, their pizza pies are huge and their hero sandwiches are enormous.
Overall this is a great place and the owner Sal and his son are very friendly and always take care of the customer and they’ve been around since I can remember and I was born and raised in ozone park, so I strongly recommend Caterinas pizza it’s delicious!!!

Misguided by all the 5 star reviews I ordered a pie from this place and was forced to throw it away! Tasteless pizza, big slices but no flavor what so ever, no one ate it. I’ve had bad pizza but this was just horrible! I have no idea how they have such high reviews…

Every thing just needs to be seasoned a bit more. From the pizza crust to the the heroes and calzones. Though the heroes are massive in size, you literally get a whole loaf of italian bread… It was bland. My egg plant was mushy and tasteless. Calzone was just a ton of ricotta and cheese… which was also bland.
They get 3 stars because their reg slice straight from the oven is delicious.
Oh an they only make Sicilian pies once a week because they don’t sell many of them. So if your buying a sicilian slice on friday it might have been sitting there since tuesday.
All in all if your craving a regular slice then they are the best in the neighborhood.

best calzone ever, anywhere. super fresh ricotta and crispy crust. Can’t beat it. Excellent value also. Owners are family guys who clearly take pride in their business, something that is hard to come by now a days.

Caterinas is a little authentic Italian pizza place in the middle of a completely Indian neighborhood. It’s a family owned business and you can always catch ether the father (Sal) i think his name is or the son tending store. Now, I go here now and then and here is the low down. Ordering slices in the store is awesome — their pizza is fantastic if you ordr a slice in the store… not so great if you get a pie to go because they make it different and it ends up being a bit mushy and not as thing and crispy as a store bought slice. This is kind of a problem in all authentic NYC pizza places though. I find that when you order a pie to go it is quite a bit more doughy than the slices they sell in the store, so i asked them to make me a pie thin and crispy like they did in store, and they obliged. They are a friendly bunch and just nice authentic guys. Some of the dinner dishes are so so, but the eggplant parm is great, and the cal-​zones and chicken rolls are really good — but this place is not really a dinner dish place — it’s a pizza place… and it’s best when you eat it there. Great slices and AMAZING Sicilian pizza! I give em 4 out of 5. and I’d go 4.5 if I could.
