Most authentic and home style Gujarati and kathiawadi food run by rajendrabhai. Unlike other oaktree restaurants which use ingredients from freezer. The food here is freshly made everyday and phulkas or bajri roti is served fresh off the Tava. i have been eating here since twenty years. Location is now close to Indian sajawat next to hilltop apartment complex. Must try!

One of the most nastiest restaurants around. We used to go there so many years ago and finally decided to give it a try. Man that was the worst decision ever made. The food sucked. We walked in and no one was there. The buffet table had some dished covered where tons of flies were flying around. The pani puri’s were stale, they had no crunch left, the potato and chana mixture seemed like it had gotten bad. The pani puri water was like flourscent green and had no taste to it. Had a horrible smell. The bhel mix was also very soft and stale. Moving onto papadi no lot which was not that bad but again from sitting out on the hot plate was pretty dry. All the lentils they had developed a film on the sides from over heating. None of it had any taste. The dahi vada’s were nothing but pure sugar. Don’t know why anyone would put sugar in dahi vada’s. Totally surpised to see no green subzi’s. All the subzi’s were different kinds of lentil. We received puran poli which the first batch was super sweet but still not that bad, and the second batch was diabetic. It seemed as though they forgot to put sugar in it. The Rotli’s were nice as well as the rotla. Thank god we went there using a groupon special. But still at the end of the day was not worth it. Will not even go into the details of the covversatiion with the owner. Everyone save your money and don’t go there ever.

Stay away from stale food. I would not give any star. WHATCHOUT for automatic 15% tips for buffet where no one came to serve water??? Bathrooms have no towels… use your pants to wipe out hands. I will not go again and advise others to save your money for good food somewhere.

We went there on a weekday night for its buffet and the food wasnt up to the mark. It was written in the flyer that it had punjabi dishes and Dosas but all it had was only Gujrati food. They also added the 15% gratuity for a buffet which was really surprising. They had pani puris and Dahi Bhalle but that wasnt good either. It felt as if it would have been better if we ate at home rather than paying $ 64 for buffet of 4 people. Would never come back here again. They need to do a reality check of whats available in indian restaurants nearby. Please spare yourself and go to any decent restaurant in oaktree road nearby rather than wasting your money here.

DONOTGOTHERE! The buffet had a variety of dishes(nothing extraordinary) which looked stale and re-heated. I regret of not checking the reviews before going as I thought its part of the Rajdhani restaurant(the chain). The food was bland and lacked some basic indian flavours. I can cook better food at home than what they served. Will never go there again.

Stay away from this hell-hole! The utterly rude female owner refused to honor a coupon and was very argumentative. The décor takes you back to a B grade 70s movie with characters to match. The buffet had a variety of dishes that seemed to be cooked a couple days back and re-heated. I can make this mash at home as well, thank you! The service is non-existent. There were a couple of white girls who probably never ate Indian food in their lives trying to help middle aged Gijju couples who could barely communicate in English. At least I got some entertainment out of this place. Will never set foot again even if I’m dying of hunger.

We went there for a weekday dinner. There was a buffet option and we chose that. Many items were good but some were not, e.g., the bhel mix was very average or below average. Gota(a kind of fried fritters) were chewy and not spiced properly. Some vegetables may be past their prime, especially a vegetable of Tindola, which was mushy and so was the eggplant veg, too. I don’t know why they would cook food for about 50 when they would serve may be 10 – 20 on a weekday night. One good thing was the temperature of the buffet which was hotter than most places I have been to. I am still wondering what happens to the huge amounts of leftovers. One nasty tradition taking a strong hold in Indian restaurants is that if you use a coupon or git certificate, you will be charged 15−20% gratuity. Now, the restaurants hardly even attempt to earn that. In this case, the owner couple and a hired person of S. American origin were too busy doing other things to provide much service. Water had to be asked to be refilled, not the glasses but even the jug itself. Most china dishes were chipped and there was an option of using foam dishes, too. Neither were cleared away in time. The sweet was a cheapo halwa, no flavor of any kind in it, no cardamom, etc. In short, a place to stuff yourself with below average Gujarati vegetarian food, if you are not concerned about service or age of the food.
