OTB has been my go to shop for the latest trends in surf wear and gear for over 20 years. The store has an inviting atmosphere and is very well laid out. OTB is our first stop when visiting SPI.

Rented a couple wetsuits here last week. Great prices, lowest on the island. Great suits. new, clean, and many sizes. Quite lenient with return times and whatnot Will definitely be returning for another rental next year

Super friendly staff and great service! Rented a paddle board and wetsuit at a very reasonable rate. Love this one-stop shop!

We were researching locally owned stores in South Padre and came across this gem. We were blown away by the level of service by not just one of the employees but ALL of the employees! They seemed happy to be working there. The employees were helpful, offering to look for sizes in the back, friendly with the kids(even tossing a football with them) and the items they carry are top quality(not cheap China stuff). If you want great service, go to On The Beach!

It’s a nice little locally owned shop that is a breath of fresh air. It’s not a tourist-y t-shirt shop; they keep quality items! Nice and helpful staff, too!

Super nice store; clean &NOT filled with all those touristy shark gizmos & ceramic clutter! Tons of stuff stuff on 50% off right now; got an awesome ripcurl bikini for $ 40! Karen was super nice, shared surf spots with us, kiteboarding info & told us we could demo a surf board(a good board) first time for free! Now my husband is stoked cuz the board he rented yesterday from another place blew. Thanx On the Beach, we’ll be back!

This surf shop is much nicer and more organized than the other beach shops. A true surfers stop with brands like Hurley, Reef, Element, etc. It was refreshing to shop for some decent stuff rather than the cheap tourist traps along Padre Blvd.

Definitely a good place to go to get some beach wear while in town. It also helped that we got 25% off coupons after demoing some paddle boards. They let me use two of them since my friends didn’t end up buying anything so we had extras. A little more expensive than some other places on the island, but really good selection and well laid out, clean, etc. Not full of crappy tourist stuff like a lot of the bigger store down the road.
