Simple Tahoe Weddings

where to begin… during the planning process they were okay. sent me a few links to view vows and got a photographer. we picked out a spot after viewing 4, also a very good experience with an assistant. Then the day came… everything was set up nicely and it looked beautiful, i will give them that. but that was ALL they did. set up a few chairs (way too early with noone to watch them so beach goers were literally taking them until i got there and put them back myself… in my wedding dress), and pressed play on the music. Our «minister» was literally the worlds worst reader. And it was like he was reading our vows in front of our whole family for the first time. I’m almost certain it was his first wedding. it was so distracting and embarrassing. and then RIGHT after we got done the assistant left, and on her way out she says «and the photographer has somewhere to be too, so you don’t have much time.» luckily the photographer was good, but she did make me feel so rushed i forgot about all my photo props i had paid for. I had even emailed her telling her about some specific pics I wanted, and didnt get any of them. The pics I did receive turned out amazing tho. Also, as my dad and kids and I were waiting to walk down the aisle they were just sitting down there asking our guests if we were ready. Eventually one of my friends came up to ask if everything was okay. Where were our «Wedding Planners?!» I also had to walk about a half mile to the site in my wedding dress with all of my things because they failed to give me the gate code to the closer gate. and then what really pissed me off was after the vows we went to a local bar/​grill for dinner. the owner of this company ended up at the same place and didn’t say a word to me. I was in my wedding dress the whole time. she seemed so drunk she didn’t even recognize me, either that or shes just rude. I don’t get mad easily, but it really bothered me that i just gave her 1200 $ for a few hours of her time and then doesn’t even acknowledge me. The assistant had mentioned this business was recently purchased so all the old reviews are by the old owner, Im pretty sure. Trust me… look elsewhere. Overall my wedding was good… because of everything I did. Not them… they did very little for a very high price. I paid 1200 $ to use the beach and 20 chairs for 30 minutes.

We can only recommend their services. We were looking for ideas for a smaller wedding party (20 people) at Lake Tahoe and we got lot’s of good ideas, combined with professional and quick service. We can only recommend them!

We can not say enough! Every detail was so thought out, even last minute changes were accommodated. Beautiful photography included, we loved our photographer and pastor! We could not have asked for more!

Disappointed in their service. Karen was late getting to our wedding, and did not help out with any «professional wedding planning» as stated in her package plan. She will nickel and dime you for everything. Please review the competitors in the area. I wish we did. They provide more, and for a cheaper price.

I recently came across this review and I was very confused. I had contacted Karen Estes when I was planning my wedding because I was under so much stress that I just needed an extra hand. Karen, took over everything, and took control and made sure everything was perfect for my wedding. I find the previous review very unlikely. She called all my vendors multiple times and was completely up to date on my wedding, which I found amazing since she probably had about 100 other weddings to worry about. She remembered things that I had forgotten about under the stress of being the Bride to Be. The day of my wedding was absolutely wonderful, everything was EXACTLY THE WAY I WANTED IT. She was there from the minute my day started till late in the night. She made sure everything was on time, in place, and ready to go when I walked down the aisle, and when we made our entrance as a newly married couple. Simple Tahoe Weddings went beyond what I ever expected and so to you Karen Estes, THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE DAY THAT I HAVE DREAMED OF SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL! I would recommend using Simple Tahoe Weddings services to anyone! I never would have thought that my dream wedding would turn out to be so Simple!
