This boutique was awesome. The ladies we’re welcoming. I thought the clothes ran in small sizes, but they don’t. I found a beautiful summery dress. It was pricey, but it was a birthday present. They were also kind enough to offer free beer. Can’t wait to visit the store in the future.
UPDATE for Jana — I forgot to add that the girls spoke highly of the person who owns the boutique and the clothes she chooses for the store. I can’t wait to return so I can spend more time browsing the store.

WHAT HAPPEN HERE? This used to be my favorite store! They served you a glass of wine when you walked in, everyone was friendly and fun, but NO LONGER!
Still have cute clothes but do do a lot of the other stores. Very disappointed

Stumbled upon this adorable boutique by chance while walking through Heavenly Village after a long day skiing. I decided to pop in and was pleasantly greeted after seeing the mannequin displays (they always get you) but unlike some stores the cutest items weren’t just located at the front of the store to reel you in. Surprisingly, the store was pretty big and was filled with a variety of trendy apparel.
After a quick run through while examining the quality of the material, I began to gather some items. Amber approached me asking if I wanted a beverage while shopping around and offered to start a fitting room for me. She was super accommodating and made me feel comfortable the whole time I was there. Not only did she zip me up, button me down and grab a different size if need be but she also brought a few items she thought I might like, which I did, without seeming pushy or as if she just wanted to make the commission.
I ended up buying about 3 dresses, a crop top, skirt, hat and accessories and while I ended up spending quite a pretty penny, the prices were reasonable. She even let me pick out a scarf and threw it in with the rest of my buys! Beyond stoked about my purchases and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Thanks Amber!

Came here tonight for the first time just window shopping but Gen was so helpful and showed me a jacket I fell in love with. I got my jacket and absolutely love it and am so greatful for the awesome service, if you get a chance stop by and ask for Gen, she will find you something you love and make your day too.

They were having a sale today and free gift when you check in on Unilocal!Unfortunately, signing into my Unilocal!wasn’t working so I promised I’d do it later, but now it says I am too far from the store. This was a cute little boutique I stumbled upon as I was leaving Tahoe. They have so many things to look at. Not inexpensive, but I liked the quality of what I saw. They had some nice options in their clearance section towards the back of the store too.
I spent an hour here without even realizing it. The ladies were really friendly. They even offered me a glass of wine while I shopped! And yes, they were responsible and asked for my ID. :)
I’d love to come back next time I’m in South Lake Tahoe!

I recently had my first experience at Sealed with A Kiss and was not disappointed. As soon as I walked into the door, I was greeted by Lesley and immediately felt welcomed and at ease. She was so friendly and personable it made the experience so fun. Lesley went out of the way to make my shopping trip at Sealed With A Kiss truly memorable and now, I can’t wait to come back!

I was in Tahoe for a girls’ weekend when we found this great store! Didn’t feel pressured like other boutiques. Lesley was super helpful and helped me pick out awesome hot pink purse! I will definitely be back during my next trip to Tahoe.

South Lake Tahoe with my husband on one of his business trips. What makes the trips a lot more exciting is knowing that I get to drop into my favorite clothing store (SWAK) Sealed With A Kiss ! to see what cool items

This place was amazing! Great clothes, jewelry, purses, etc! (little pricey but worth it). But the reason I’m posting this is because I had a great experience there with an employee who I wish I had gotten her name. I had a TERRIBLE experience at the spa (see Serenity Spa review) next door to this boutique and was waiting on my friend to finish so I walked over to their sale rack and then ultimately went inside. I was still so upset about my experience at the spa that I asked the lady behind the counter if she had ever been there and bless her heart, I essentially just vented to her about what happened and she offered to let me come back to a little table of free gifts for customers. She let me pick out 2 things for free! It was a $ 50 dollar value! She was awesome and I will be back before I leave on Monday to shop some more!

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I bought a pea coat that my daughter wanted for her birthday. Less then 12 hours later I came back to exchange it because it didn’t fit. They did not have her size, so I asked for a refund so I could buy her a pea coat somewhere else. The clerk refused and offered a store credit. This was unacceptable, as my daughter wanted a pea coat, not $ 175 worth of whatever else they sell here
The person was very rude and uncompromising. Be very careful when deciding to shop here.

My husband and I stumbled in to S.W.A.K super last minute on New Years Eve in search of an outfit for me to wear to PEEK that night. Amber immediately approached us and began sifting through the racks in pursuit of a perfect frock for me to wear. She offered us both complimentary wine and beer which I know my husband appreciated immensely.
Amber was phenomenal! She was knowledgable, personable, and just an all around nice gal. She was attentive and SO accommodating to everyone who entered the store. I ended up keeping her a little past the 7:30 closing time that evening and even still, she remained enthusiastic to help me get everything I needed for the night! She also made sure to give us a military discount once she found out my husband was active duty.
I ended up leaving not only with an outfit to wear that evening but another dress and some surprise jewelry my husband secretly purchased while I was in the dressing room. Bar none, this has been the most enjoyable shopping experience I’ve had! I’ll definitely pop back in every Tahoe trip I make!

Just before Thanksgiving I walked into Sealed With A Kiss and said, «So…I’m eloping tomorrow and I’m looking for something to wear.» I was greeted with such enthusiasm and a big hug from Lesley! She went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress and accessories for my elopement. I gave Lesley absolutely no information about what the day was going to look like because The Boyfriend– now The Husband– didn’t tell me a thing! Except that he thought maybe it might be outside. He planned all of it and kept it as a huge surprise for me!
Lesley was so helpful in offering dresses and wine and even a free bottle of nail polish after I bought my dress and headband! The nail polish was a navy blue that I used on my toes as my Something Blue. I actually forgot it on the counter in all of my excitement and went back the next morning, where Lesley was waiting to hand it back to me and send me well wishes.
I’ve shown our wedding pictures to my friends and family and have gotten such rave reviews about the awesome dress I found in such short time. (Short Time as in The Husband proposed in Yosemite on Thursday, dress shopping was Saturday, and we were wed overlooking Emerald Bay by Sunday!)
Everyone, especially Lesley, was so wonderful at SWAK. Thank you for giving me something so beautiful to wear on such a special day.

What a delightful store! My children were trying their hand at rollerskating for the first time, in the same courtyard and I got to browse the shops with my best friend. We found two shops that delighted us tremendously.
I LOVE S.W.A.K. I found some adorable jewelry for my daughter and a delightful scarf for my friend. Prices were great and the quality was top of the line! I had a hard time choosing because I wanted everything in the store, from pillows, to blouses, from boots to jackets! Very stylish, couture and unique!
The other store was across the way and both sold the amazing fun worded hand painted boards. I had to buy one for my friend and my husband. Best places we found for gifts in Tahoe.
My new favorite restaurant is in the same shopping area!

This is my first time visiting Lake Tahoe. On a little walking adventure to see the shops, my friends & I walked into one of the most fabulous boutiques I’ve ever been in. The customer service & friendliness of the sales associate Amber was amazing. She participated with us in a fun round of «let me take a selfie». She laughed & talked with us. Her personality alone is worth the trip to this boutique. The icing on the cake were the fabulous clothes & hard to find items like cozies for your wine bottles. I’ll definitely be back again! 5 stars for fun, fun, fun, fabulous & more fun.

This store is not only full of fun, sassy, fashionable and quality clothes and accessories but the ‘stylists,’ as I would categorize the lovely associates who assist you in the story (Lindsey was fantastic!), make the experience one to return for!

We have been in before, but for some reason our reviews are gone.
Last time I gave it all 5 stars because they had nice lines of clothing, quite a bit better than average. Great *blinged* out maxi dresses and tops to make your holiday more fun. DD found a wonderful top, and I was close to purchasing an item then.
This time it was not as good… clothing was cheaper, and we found nothing. Sad really, because it is the only boutique in the area.
I doubt if I will go in again.

Chloe and Kassi are absolutely amazing. They are two women who know fashion, style and class. They helped my family and I find perfectly fitting clothes. They are so sweet And the clothes are affordable and fashionable. They offer drinks and are there to make you feel comfortable while you shop – something that doesn’t happen often. I cannot wait to come back because of them!

This place deserves 10 stars in my book… What an experience!
My boyfriend and I were on a weekend getaway, and decided to do a little shopping. It was fate that brought us into this store… honestly. I know that’s a little deep for a review, but the customer service was unreal. I am going to give you a story line now, just keep reading:
(Boyfriend and I walking together — PDA and all)
Owner: «Hi there… I just had to stop you to tell you that you are really living up to the name of my store. and I wanted to offer the both of you a glass of wine while you shop.»
Us: «Wow… That’s amazing… Thank you! We would love that.»
Owner: «How about a cookie to go with it. It is so great to see a couple in love right in front of our eyes.»
Us: (thinking– holy shizza… we really walked into the right place…)
Honestly…She made us feel so welcome and wasn’t pushy about the shopping aspect at all. We spent about an hour in there, and left with a shirt for his brother, a big sun hat for me, some hilarious cards, 2 glasses of wine, a charged phone, and (yes this happened) — she threw in a free scarf to thank us for being so friendly. THAT is what I call a great small business owner.
I promised her I would rave about her store, and although it took me too long, I finally have. I unfortunately cannot remember her name… But to the amazing owner– Thank you for making our shopping experience on our first weekend getaway together an unforgettable one. It may not mean much to some people, but it’s very easy to tell which businesses really deserve to go a long way, and this one certainly does.
(P.S.- Their clothes and accessories are phenomenal too… I wear that scarf as much as possible!)
