Best Candy Store EVER! Unique and odd different flavors and old time candys. The Big Boss who runs it, is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. He does do special orders if there is a candy you like, he can and will be pretty fair on the price You will pay for it. Its in a beautiful location and also has UNIQUENESS olé style metal signs and some unique cardboard cut-outs. Stop on by and have a look around and Remember theres nothing bad about a candy store, just all the Goods.

It’s hard to not smile when walking into Rocket Fizz. Whether its your sweet tooth buzzing or memories from childhood of vintage favorites you thought were gone, who doesn’t like the site of candy and soda of all types and flavors — almost Wonka like. For me, it’s about memories. I had my sweet tooth pulled a few years ago(figuratively) and gave up soda(sort of) but I still love gazing and gawking — kinda like after being married for a lot of years. There’s import candy, soda flavors you’d not have imagined(including coffee and bacon), pop rocks flavors never seen, shrimp chips, and Green Tea Kit Kats. You be hard pressed to not find something that you almost have to have or must try.

Where else would you go to satisfy your cravings for Pimple Pop, Dictator Sodas and candy you haven’t seen since you were a kid? They seriously have the largest selection of sodas I’ve ever seen including an impressive collection of root beers from everywhere! Ask for recommendations and you’ll get sommelier like expertise like you’ve never heard about sodas before, I strongly recommend it!

The candy is great and all but the awesome old school posters were even better! The guy working, who I believe was the owner, was really friendly and nice to talk to. If your in the area you definitely have to go check this place out!

I’ve come in here a few times on my South Lake excursions. It is located on the main walkway into Heavenly Village, so easy to spot. Lots of different novelty candies and drinks. Most recently, my brother in law who is from Ireland wanted to pop in and see if they had any of his favorite candies. And sho enough, they did. In the meantime, my niece was perusing through all the fun wacky memorabilia and nearly killed me when she said, «Who is Elvis?»

Simply amazing!!! We went in expecting nothing, but received everything and then some, for a candy store. Entering the store took me down memory lane. I saw candies I grew up eating. The drink selection was phenomenal! They have drinks call: Pimple Pop, Bloody Nose,… Lol. My kids had to chuckle in disgust, then ponder whether they want to try. They decided to put them down… good choice. Lol. Great establishment! Competitive price. We will visit this place every time we’re in the area.

Really fun place to explore with a family. Brought me back to my childhood with candy’s that are hard to find in regular stores. The owners are the nicest people that you will ever meet. Thanks for making my family feel so welcomed.

I felt like a kid in a candy store! There are so many amazing options to be hand here. You would be hard pressed to come up with something they don’t sell! I can’t list it all here but anything you want you can find here. Today the wall of soda beckoned me. I had been craving a Jones green apple soda and was hoping to find one here. There was one in the wall but none in the refrigerated case, unfortunately. I did wind up with some yummy candy options and enjoyed all of the vintage style metal signs. I’m currently debating on which ones I might want to bring home on my next visit. Be sure to stop in to peruse or purchase some sweet treats!

I saw this business on undercover boss so when I walked past it, no doubt I had to check it out. Walking through Rocket Fizz is almost overwhelming with all the colors, candy, and American nastalgia. There is something for everybody in this candy store no matter what decade you grew up. There is so much more than just candy in here. They have soda of all flavors, toys, and even music posters. I bought some buffalo chicken wing soda and chocolate chip cookie dough cola. I didn’t expect either to be the most delicious thing I ever tasted obviously, but it sure was fun watching people’s faces as they tried those exotic flavors. If you are walking around Southlake and come across Rocket Fizz, go in! You will love it. Whether you are 8 years old or 80 years old, you will find something to enjoy.

This place is so cool! So much fun to check out for the first time… so much soda and candy. I love the concept because I love soda and I love candy. Somehow I didn’t spend any money when I visited, but I hope this place is open forever. Edit: Oh, they have franchises.

Huge selection of sodas. Lots of overpriced current, imported and old-school candy. We bought some vintage-looking mallow cups and were disappointed to discover that they were stale. Couldn’t even get the paper off them because it was all stuck to the bottom. I’d recommend sticking to the more mainstream selections, or better yet, pop into the Raley’s across the street or the CVS down the way for FRESH candy.

What’s not to love! I came in with my 3 year old. She went crazy. Like«oohh look at this!» «Ooh look at that!» Lol It was awesome. She ended up getting some cotton candy and a finger monster. The tall blonde male cashier was very friendly and very sweet. Definitely will go back. No doubt!

The store gets 5 stars. The less than helpful staff knocks that down to 4 stars. My wife and entered, initially overwhelmed but overjoyed, at the sheer volume of candy, soda and random knick knacks that lined the walls. My wife headed to the soda packed upstairs area and I started downstairs. I was immediately excited that within 10 feet of the door I found Garbage Pail Kids cards for a friends Christmas present. Score! Then candies and sweets I loved during my travels through Europe. Score again. My wife came downstairs proclaiming they had crazy soda flavors like«Ranch Dip» upstairs, which was a must see! I headed up and wound up with a Green Tea Soda. All the while, the two employees at the register stood discussing video game purchases with their visiting friend. They never made eye contact. Never offered a hello. I had to squeeze between the register counter and a display and they never broke away from their conversation with each other to engage with me. My wife and I picked up a few treats and headed to the register. We set everything down on the counter, one of which was a small bag of salt water taffy. The employee stated that the bags were sold by bag so we could go back and fill it up. Thank you but you could have said that while my wife was standing placing taffy into the bag had you paid attention during our shopping experience. Prices were fine for candy and soda items. For that I would head back. Especially if they had more helpful staff on hand next time!

As a Tahoe regular I love this place, and anytime I am in the Heavenly shopping area you know I am going to stop here! The owner is really wonderful about getting certain candies that you want. First visit in I had asked if he had any regular Galaxy chocolate which he didn’t. He said he would look into it and low and behold when I came in the next week it was there. It’s always a pleasant place to visit and all the people who work there are wonderful. If your looking for a sweet place to stop or just to look at all the interesting things they offer Rocket Fizz is for you!

Needed to kill some time in Tahoe and walked around the shopping area by the Heavenly gondola. If you are looking for different types of soda and want to try something interesting this is the place to go. We ended up getting a 6 pk of soda which is $ 10+tax and got sweet corn, cucumber, ramunde, honey lemonade, cream soda, and guava. I haven’t tried all of them yet but price wise if you get more than 1 it’s not a bad deal. Considering some of the ginger ale that is sold is also sold at whole paycheck for like $ 3 a bottle, if you like the stuff you could get a deal here. Sweet corn soda– tastes like canned corn in soda form. Sort of weird but interesting to try. I’ll update the others when I try them.

I love to walk through candy stores. It brings back such good memories of my childhood. Alas, there is typically nothing vegan-friendly. Or if it is vegan, the ingredients just don’t work for me. I browsed around and decided to ask if they offered any dairy free dark chocolate. Well, that was the first time he had ever been asked that. I tend to get that a lot! He pulled out a list from behind his register of all the vegan candies they sell. There were 10 or 12! He also has lists for kosher or gluten free options. I was curious about the peanut butter bar. He showed me where they were and offered me a couple to try. My husband and I each tried one and decided we loved them. They reminded us both of a butterfinger candy bar minus the chocolate coating. We went back in and bought a little sack of them for our roadtrip home. Just a reminder to always ask. You just never know what surprises you can find!
