Miss Jana was amazing. She stayed open later than the hours on the door and let me smell so many scents. She gave me much insight to perfumes and it was awesome to talk to someone who has a genuine love for fragrance as I do. She even spoiled me a bit with an amazing cologne that I have fallen in love with. I can’t wait to go back and visit her and her pups.

My mom and I happened about this store during a vacation shopping excursion. My mom loves Shalimar and the owner, Jana, was kind and patient in answering our rapid-​fire questions about the different vintages she had. As the conversation progressed, it became clear that Jana is not only an expert in perfume, but extremely passionate about her profession. She and Janelle allowed us to smell and sample so many different scents, listening to the flavors we each like and suggesting others that we might enjoy. It was and impressive and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Tahoe!

You’d never expect a fragrance store this nuanced and extensive in Lake Tahoe, but there it is. Jana’s knowledge of perfume is encyclopedic. Just come in and try to stump her!
Prices are far lower than what you’ll pay in the big cities and Jana carries brands you won’t find anywhere else. In addition, Jana’s a huge animal lover (you’ll probably be greeted by one or more huge friendly canines) and she’s knowledgable about cruelty free products.

I started coming in here a few months ago. The first time I was helped by Janell. She is not only extremely knowledgeable but super helpful and kind. If you are in the market for any type of perfume go here immediately. My favorite so far is Versace yellow diamond but she recently introduced me to Hermes eau des merveilles and that will defiantly be my next purchase.

Fragrance Vault has alot of choices Women & Men. I’ve gotten a few colognes here, the Staff here is very knowledgeable, nice, polite and they also carry very rare an vintage fragrance’s. If your up in Tahoe (South Shore) I would recommend stopping by.

The owner of the store Jana, was so helpful, knowledgable, and friendly that even though I’m visiting from out of state I’m going to be sure to contact them for future purchases. We were there past closing and she was so patient the entire time. Thank you for all your help and for letting us play with your beautiful dogs!

A different perfume was packaged for us than the one we asked for… and when we returned to the store to get the correct fragrance which we had tried to purchase, we were told that because of the no return policy, they could not help us even though the mistake was theirs.
We waited an hour for the store to open because the internet ( Unilocal, Google, Facebook) and their door says they open at 10, but nobody bothered showing up until much later.
The fragrance they sold us for $ 88 is possible to buy on amazon for about $ 50.
Needless to say, we do not suggest shopping here and we will never return back again.

Probably the best collection of perfumes on the West Coast. The Vault is tucked into a unlikely strip mall near at Stateline Lake Tahoe. It is easy to end up spending an hour or more just looking, sniffing and being guided through the fragrance library and still not come close to touching a tenth of what is available. What makes this collection even more special are the vintage and discontinued perfumes that are available for purchase. If you remember a cologne or perfume from your past… it is here. Memory is often triggered by smells and fragrance. This will bring back a lot of memories and create some new ones. This prices on new designer perfumes like Dior are lower than regular retail stores and probably the best price you will find anywhere.
Worth coming back to, time and again.

They have wonderful staff and the best prices for name brand perfumes. I bought a perfume I’ve been looking for, for quite some time. The specific perfume is worth $ 75 and I got it for $ 45. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
