This place rocks! Tons of gag gifts, collectibles and neat stuff you won’t find anywhere else in Tahoe. PLUS it is not ALL pirate stuff– they have cool jewelry, clothes and costumes. Lots of fun stuff for kids & adults.

So, I seriously spent maybe ten minutes in here while my friends spent half an hour… thus the, I am sitting here bored, check in on Unilocal! The prices were high to me, but did give my one friend, who is a costume designer, some ideas and thoughts, but said he could get it cheaper online. I did not find the sales clerk very happy or helpful, but then again, if I had customers coming in saying ARRRR to me, I don’t know if I would be either.

Pirates in Tahoe? What a weird yet fun little place. Pirate, yes PIRATE themed gift shop in a small mall in South Lake. Friendly owner, fun trinkets. Good to kill an hour looking at tchotchkes. Bought a nice piece of costume jewelry for $ 20. Fair deal, fun little shop. Unilocaler tip — There’s an even more fancy pirate themed décor shop in the back of the mall. Check out the electric candles — the coolest I’ve ever seen.

Tiny however it is packed full of treasures. This is where I had first come for my vacation gifts. Everything was so unusual and I am sure my friends will love their small part of Tahoe! The service was great, she was helpful and sweet. There were items priced high to low and still unusual. Go check it out. 4 stars cause I wish the store was a tad bigger!

This place had lots of fun stuff for adults and kids. However, not kid friendly. I brought my kids in and felt very unwelcome. There were signs everywhere about not touching or playing with the items. My kids were very good but a bit noisy because they were excited. The lady came up to my son and told him to use his inside voice and kept telling them not to touch things. If you’re selling kids toys, you have to expect to have kids just being kids. Not at this place.
