Andy remodeled our cabin from the ground up. He went out of his way to make sure we got the best prices from all of the subs without sacrificing quality. We trusted him totally from beginning to end in all aspects of the remodel. Andy has always been polite and helpful while going the extra mile to ensure the end result was nothing less than perfection. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend A M Construction and any of his subs.

It doesn’t get better than AM Construction in South Lake Tahoe. Andy remodeled our first condo and 10 years later, built us a beautiful house. He is currently building us a garage and an in-​law unit. The trades in Tahoe are difficult. Before Andy, we had people that did not show up and windows and doors installed in the wrong location and backwards. Andy is a professional and demands the same of his subcontractors. He does not work with flakes. He built our house as if it was his own. He made design changes that were better than any idea we could come up with. He works well with the Building Department, the inspectors and all of the other agencies in town. He has lived and worked in Lake Tahoe for a very long time and he knows all of the sub contractors and who does the best work for the best price. He pays attention to small details and will bring so much added value to your project for no extra cost. He moved and framed out windows to best frame the views. I would never have thought this was an option, as the architect did not draw in this kind of detail. He recommended outlets and other wiring details to make our house last for many years to come. I have no higher recommendation to give. I will post some photos soon.

I have no idea how the previous reviewer had issues with Andy! I hired Andy to do a complete remodel of my kitchen and bathroom and he did an excellent job! He was always there when he said he’d be there and got the job done quickly with no issues what’s so ever! After dealing with him, I can’t imagine him ever being rude or arrogant to anyone. Super easy to work with.
If you need a job done right, call Andy! I highly recommend him.

This man and his son are, in my opinion and that of some of the neighbors who witnessed their behavior, horribly inconsiderate, rude, condescending, and arrogant. Even after the police told them to stop, they had to leave a nasty note behind tonight. Ladies, I would not want them near me. Landlords, your tenants will not be happy with these guys on site. They were so bad I called the police and my attorney today about them.
