OMG! My husband and I came here for a late lunch after a few cocktails at a different tavern in South Haven. The wait staff were very friendly, the view was beautiful and the food was fantastic! We split a Perch basket and got the cheese stix which were both phenomenal! I even left with a tank top and 2 coozies! We initially came here for the view, but we will definitely be back for everything else again!

I had lunch here on Sunday. It was a bit of a wait but the restaurant had just opened and there were quite a few people here. The food arrived pretty fresh and tasty. My wrap was just a plain chicken wrap but the ingredients tasted fresh and I liked the pita it came
in. Perch basket was very good as was the burger, shrimp basket was plentiful and
just ok-​tasting. Service was friendly.
I think my favorite part about eating here was the pretty view overlooking the lake, and the funny little ducks that quack around, scavenging the deck for scraps :)
If you’re looking for good fried bar food and a good selection of beers (bottles only) with quick service, this place fits the bill. Menu consisted of fried apps, exactly what we were looking for at the time.
Hot wings were quite spicy. Mozzarella sticks were fried perfectly and came with ranch rather than traditional marinara. A perfect dipping sauce in my opinion. Adding beers on tap would definitely bump captain Lou’s to a 4 star spot. Service was friendly and efficient.
