It is a great place to go and have coffee, tea, etc. and stay for the live music and relaxed atmosphere

Although the coffee is a little expensive, this is one of my favorite cafes to come too. It has a nice atmosphere. If you come when there’s live music, that’s pretty cool. Plenty of board games and such to play. You can easily spend hours here unlike at other coffee shops, I feel like time really flies when I’m here. The coffee is pretty good and the desserts all look extremely tasty. It’s a little bit of a drive for me to come here but it’s well worth it. I definitely recommend this café.

This place is fantastic! I’ve been here on 3 occasions, everytime a roaring success. Its hard to name my favorite thing about this place. The atmosphere is totally relaxed, grab a chair, a small table, a couch, or a very large round table where you can sit with your friends as if you were the knights of the realm (or whatever else tickles your fancy). Anytime I go to a restaurant I always gravitate towards the chefs specials because I know this is constantly changing and they always sound so damn good. Well this place is no different with weekly/​daily specials on lattes, teas, hot chocolate etc… (gingerbread snap latte, orange dreamsicle iced tea don’t mind if I do).
Drinks/​Pastries: All of their drinks coffee, tea, hot chocolate are top notch with just the right amount of sweetness that doesn’t overpower the base ingredient (cocoa powder/​espresso). While they don’t make their own pastries the blueberry scone was nothing to scoff about. Not overly sweet and very fresh. They also have a decent selection of craft beer and red/​white wine that I haven’t tried due to the time that I’ve went there (before 3pm… not that there’s anything wrong with you if you drink before 3pm).
Service/​Ambiance: 5 star all the way. They have a gas fireplace surrounded by chairs and a couch with a coffee table that has a hinged top that raises toward you (pretty damn fancy). They also have multiple 2 person tables and bar seating as well. Forget to bring a book while you enjoy your tasty beverage… no worries they have you covered. Help yourself to their bookshelves and if you find a book you can’t put down it only costs a $ 1 to take it home with you. Their staff is super friendly and very efficient at creating heaven in a cup. I wish I could remember the guys name that works there but he’s been growing his beard for 3 flipping years! That alone is a reason to make this a frequent haunt… anyone with that much dedication to his facial hair will certainly carry over to his profession (that is a scientific fact).
Bottom line this should be a place you checkout if within a 15 minute drive. If you are in the South Hadley shopping center and if you don’t visit feel free to punch yourself in the face for me.

Live music on the weekends.

good gf peanut butter cookie. cookies not my thing normally but it’s the only gf offering aside from macaroons. they could definitely expand there.
varied seating, lots of natural light, music not too loud, prices fair. I guess they host live music here too. that would be fun in this cozy space. recommended hang. I’ll be back.

Absolutely a gem. This place is a marvelous little getaway to study or talk with friends in a relaxed college town atmosphere. Directly in the heart of South Hadley this place has it all. Fresh pastries and drinks as well as used books that line the shelves.
I wish the seats were a little more well planned out to get into (a little cramped) but not a deal breaker!

Where else can you get a Green Flash IPA and a fantastic vanilla cappuccino with a little kitty drawn in the foam at the same time? Ahh, I dont have enough good things to say about this little café. Tons of comfortable seating, great coffee, and the service is fantastic.
Insider tip: They have a honey-​lemon-​ginger drink that you can get chilled or hot– fabulous for when you’re feeling under the weather.
