great store, have picked up many a gift bottle for the holidays and occasions there. I wish though their whiskey and bourbon selection branched out more that the usuals I see everywhere else. Look they have a great selection, make great baskets and the people there are friendly as all get out. But as someone who collects and is into strange and finer spirits, it kinda lets the side down a bit. Excellent otherwise though.

High quality wines and liquors and a friendly, knowledgeable staff that knows a lot about their inventory. Always running specials for holidays, and they even have beautiful and convenient gift baskets of wines, chocolates, and other items perfect for a housewarming or party gift.
Really the only place to go in the area for a late night wine or alcohol stop — open until 2am — the only liquor store in the area open that late! Highly recommended. Also, for what it’s worth, it’s a gorgeous store — not seedy or sketch like a lot of other liquor stores can be.

Your Late Night Liquor Savior!
If you’re one of those people who doesn’t usually stock a lot of beer and liquor at home and often find yourself rushing to the store before it closes, this is the place for you. This shop is open LATE. It’s as late as you can buy liquor in the area without heading into the city or to a bar or bodega that sells you some beer to go.
Prices are slightly higher than your usual ShopRite Liquors but you’re paying for the convenience. Hours are Sunday and Monday 9AM-​10PM, Tues-​Thurs 9AM-​Midnight, Friday and Saturday 9AM-​2AM!
Now some of you may be hesitant to head over to Hackensack but I have to say that this place feels pretty safe, it shares a well lit parking lot with a 7 – 11 and I had no qualms about setting foot in here. The same cannot be said of Simple Simon’s near the hospital. That place felt a little sketch plus they had up fliers trying to catch some punk who’s into that knockout punch game.
Just a quick note, you may have some trouble finding your favorite beer here if it’s not popular so give them a quick call to check before you head over there.

I was on my way to a dinner party and was told to bring the alcohol or happy juice, which of course I forgot at home. I searched liquor stores on my phone in the area and one of the first places that popped up was Wine & Liquor Depot. They have an excellent selection on fine wines. One of the employees helped me pick out a few excellent bottles within my budget. This place has pretty good customer service and the people are very friendly. Five stars!

It’s your typical neighborhood liquor store really. However, they do offer wine tastings, which is a little bit out of the ordinary. Their beer selection is average. You won’t find much in terms of dark beers like porters, stouts, or extra pales. The wine selection is decent. They do carry some high rated Cabs.
The owner is usually on site and open to any inventory suggestions. If they don’t carry a particular brand you’re looking for, he’ll be happy to place a special order for you with a minimal mark-​up.
