I’ve never had a bad experience at a Starbucks, employees are normally very welcoming and happy BUT this location was different. We were rudely«helped» by Diana she made a comment that really pissed me off she said«you do know it already has it» like hello if I knew I’d be over the counter making my own drink and taking over your job. My review is mainly based on her. ANDIMNOTEVENTHATJUDGEMENTAL!!!

45 minute long drive true on a hot pre summer night with cars behind me and I’m told at the voice box(by what seems like a giggling pre teen named Mildred who was also refusing to give me her name but spared no expense when it came to attitude) with no way of getting out, that they are out of ice and only serving hot drinks!?! It’s 80 degrees at after 10pm! Who wants a hot drink!?! And if that was something they knew was an issue, why not have someone go outside or make a sign warning people of the major inconvenience they were facing/creating. It’s for silly things like this that more people are preferring to go almost everywhere else but Starbucks. Looks like it’s CoffeeBean for me from now on. Goodbye and good luck Starbucks!

Worst Starbucks ever! The staff seems to be more into their conversation than they are about the customer. I chalk it up to the demographical area. I don’t expect much out of that area except attitude and rudeness. So, congratulations to the staff, you proved a point to the people that look at Hispanic people a certain way.

Worst Starbucks I’ve been to with horrible service. You wait forever just to get your drink or drinks and when you get it it’s melted. This is bullshit! I’m so disappointed! I will never come here again! Sucks that this Starbucks is literally a couple blocks away from my house now I have to drive far just to get decent service and my drinks made right. And the baristas are always rude when I go through their drive thru.

First and Worst experience I’ve had at Starbucks! My husband and I were ordering through drive through and we told the employee to give us a minute to order a couple seconds passed and she literally gave us our total as we were placing our last order. Felt rushed and on top of that she was slightly rude!

I am here a lot studying because it closes at 1am! Very convenient for me! The staff here is so amazingly nice and kind to me, so sweet! One time some little girls dropped my drink in the pick up table(accidentally) and they just laughed and left, I felt bad having to ask the staff if I can have another but one was nice enough and gave me a venti but I had ordered grande first. Then I wanted to order a cake pop and she gave it to me. They were very nice! All in all, I love this location! Extremely friendly staff!

If I could give zero stars I would, first off the set up of the drive thru and parking lot is horrible. The cars in line are completely blocking all the parking spaces. The drive thru takes forever to get a drink ready, the staff obviously isn’t well trained or else they’d move at a faster pace. I love Starbucks but this is the worse one I have been too.

I moved out to the area closer to August last year for school and was on a constant search for a Starbucks to study at with a decent closing time. Found this spot(at the time they were open till midnight) and found it to be a nice in-between where I stay and my school. Although it can get pretty cold here if you’re here for extended hours like pulling an all-day session or midnight mission etc.(just bring a sweater and it’s all good), I’ve found the staff to be very friendly and quite accommodating to my needs. I’ve always enjoyed staff recommendations when I’m debating on the variety of teas, and/or sandwiches here! Becoming somewhat of a regular myself, I appreciate the staff members that have taken the time to remember my name, how many honey bags I usually get(the small things mean a lot) and even have a quick chat ever once and awhile. The locations can get pretty busy both in-store and at the drive-thru, I feel it makes sense given their new and generous 1am closing time(just grateful to have something like this in the area) and the general reception people have for coffee. In the end, glad I found this spot, and I’ll probably be here studying at one of the big tables haha

This store can never get my order right, it’s always very simple but never tastes like it should. I switched to BK Iced coffee because it’s better than whatever they’re making at this Starbucks. I don’t understand how they are always busy in drive thru with their customer service. One of the times they got my order wrong the cashier/barista took the coffee from my hand and rudely dumped it in their sink. Another time, same employee refused to validate my buy one get one email when s’mores frapp came out because I didn’t show her my Starbucks app although the email had a code for the freebie. Instead, she took back my drink and dumped it! Woah!

Worse service ever !! Waiting for about 45 mins order a caramel latte grande after half an hour I went up to the register they totally forgot about my order ! And they decided to tell me they were out of caramel after I asked for it. I ordered a grande mocha frap with mocha drizzle and they give me a mocha frap with caramel drizzle. I can go on but… Wack spot! Never again !

I wrote a review this morning apparently somebody deleted it. I was there this morning. I placed my order and then of course they lost it. I had to reorder and i was there for more than 30 minutes to get my order. I didn’t get an apology or anything. I want my money back.

Immediately after entering the door I was warmly greeted by a staffmember. I asked the barista at the counter for a strong, hot coffee and she suggested the blonde pour over and was clear to mention that it would take about 8min to brew it to check if I had enough time to wait. I did! So blonde it is! Wow this coffee is full of flavor and I gotta say I really enjoyed it and will be getting a refill when I leave. Overall, good experience here and I’ll be back for my caffeine fix whenever I’m working in the area. Thumbs up to the whole crew! Note: this Starbucks gets hella packed with people on their laptops presumably bc ELAC’s south gate location is down the street but you should be able to find a seat! Also, they have the new phone charger devices here.

Best neighborhood Starbucks! I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for years and I’m never dissatisfied. The baristas are always quick and get my order correct. They are always helpful if I need anything. The smell of coffee as you enter always is always satisfying! The drive thru is always quick even on Sundays when it’s really full. I will come back for many more years!

Drive thru is a 10 – 15 min wait. Really!!? Ordered a venti caramel macchiato with an added shot… And it tastes like milk. I paid extra for 20 ounces of milk. Gross!!!

The owner of this place should consider in investing in staff for the drive-thru. It’s a joke. The term drive thru is faster service not parking, which is what I have to do each time. I park in the drive thru forever waiting to be helped. Expand your parking space or speed up the service. GETITTOGETHER!!!

This is one of the slowest moving Starbucks I’ve experienced. If you have an extra 10 – 15 minutes in the morning to sit in the drive thru for your latte then this is the place for you!

One of the baristas hear deserves a douche bag pin. I ordered and iced chai tea, but when I arrived to the window they had my drink ready in the hot version. The guy paused and asked«wait, did you say iced», like yes i did more than once when I was ordering it a minute ago! Whatever, they then made it iced. I also noticed they were not using the stickers for drive-thru orders and asked why. The guy on drive-thru says this«because I’m working with girls.» What the hell does that even mean? P:S The past few times I’ve been here through drive-thru, they have used the stickers and I’m glad I haven’t seen that asshole.

No problem with wait time for me. I pass by the drive thru almost every other morning before work, but of course it’s at 6am before the morning rush. It’s ok but then again all Starbucks are crowded and take long.

I really enjoy coming through the drive threw at this Starbucks. They are fast and very nice. They always treat me with courtesy. The line is long sometimes but I don’t mind waiting because I know I’m going to be greeted with a smile. I come here al the time and will keep coming back. I never go inside the store so I can’t give my review on that.

The local neighborhood Starbucks… so I felt it was only fair if I write a quick review on the place that allows me to fix my coffee and tea needs. Walking distance from where I live, this Starbucks has always given me pleasant service and great drinks. I usually get my order to go, as there is almost no place for me to sit. And I am not going to fight somebody here for a spot. The drive thru is always full, especially on cold days and evenings. Oh, this is one of the few Starbucks locations in which the WiFi really, for lack of a better term, sucks! Sometimes I have to wait such a long time before I can get a good signal. My usual drink is the very berry hibiscus so I know that it is always made here with love! Overall, I am one to always support local businesses, chain or family. Just thought I would show some love since they are the closest to my crib!

Like coming here early on Saturday mornings. I’ve never had a bad cup of Joe at this location. Coffee is constantly freshly brewed and they usually have 3 types to choose from. The service is great and the staff are always busy instead of chit-chatting. The inside is also pleasant with many tables and a few comfortable couches. Wi-Fi sucks so don’t even bother. The drive-thru is always usually jammed packed but if you prefer to park many spots available. They also have patio in front with shaded umbrellas for those who prefer the outdoor seating. They play roc en español which is a plus for me. Would have been 5 star awesomeness but the lack of Wi-Fi knocked off a star

This is my go-to Starbucks. It’s on the way and near work so it’s super convenient. People may badmouth the neighborhood it’s in, but I’ve never received less than great quality service. I love this Starbucks, hate the drive thru lines at times, love walking in on my lunch break to see people networking or studying on their laptops, and am grateful for their variety of yummy goodness to get me through the day. I believe this is the only Starbucks in South Gate and a very popular one at that!
