I love Ono but the service is oh hell no. I came in hungry cause I’m a beast. The cashier and the cook looked at each other like I just ruined the party. We started to order and she was rude right off he bat, the music is way too loud and so she had trouble hearing us, even though we where two feet away from her. I don’t know her name it starts with a K I think. She is rude and she needs people skills. I waited for my food like for 16 minutes. If you don’t like your job go back to school and better yourself. Good was alright.

Never again. I attempted to have dinner there tonight. I walked in at 8:30pm, I put in a order for a chicken bbq plate & drink. At 8:35pm, I was approached by a Hispanic female and she said that the person taking my order made a mistake by allowing me to dine in. The place closes at 9pm. I walked in at 8:30pm. She moved me from my seat and only allowed me to sit at one table as she said she needed to mop the floors and all sections were now closed. Once my food was ready at 8:37pm, a Mexican male served my food on a tray and was about to hand it to me, when the girl attempted to make my order to go. I told the male to not touch my food and give me my tray. I expressed to them both, that if I wanted my food to go, I would ask for it to go. While I was eating, 8:45pm, the female came over to my table and took my tray. She said the owners do not like people eating at the tables after 8:30pm, and that she needed all trays put away. By this time I felt harassed while eating, I just gave her the tray and threw my food away, unfinished. 8:50pm, I was out of there. Never again, stay away, don’t eat there. Poor customer service, poor training, and extremely poor work ethics. I’m not sure if either the owners really do not want people dining in their restaurant after 8:30pm, or if this employee lied and she just wanted to go home early. The male workers didn’t seem to support anything she was saying. I have zero complaints toward the 2 males working.

Ordered shrimp soup and it was given to me with a layer of white particles floating on it. I was like maybe it’s the noodles so I began to put my hot sauce on it. Then I ate a shrimp and it was chewy. I picked one up and saw the poop trail is still around it, I got so grossed out. Hello u clean ur shrimp before serving it. So I take it up to the counter and I show the young female working and her response was«well did u touch the soup and I said yes I ate a shrimp and I told her I’m disgusted and this is unexpectable. And she went on further to tell me «well its like clothes u don’t know what ur gona get» Lmao r u serious lady, really great customer service. I asked for my money bk and to have a Manger contact me… you b the judge ppl

Ono? More like Oyes! Haha. This place reminds me of L&L Hawaiian BBQ. Not sure which came first(the chicken or the egg). The interior is clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and nice. Two of the walls are all windows, which is nice because all of the natural sunlight shines in and brightens the entire room. I got the chicken katsu plate, which came with rice and macaroni salad. I asked for two scoops of mac salad and one scoop of rice. The mac salad is always good. The chicken was crispy and tasty. Slightly over battered, but still very good. It tasted good with both the katsu sauce and the teryaki sauce. The katsu sauce is lighter; the teriyaki sauce is sweeter and stronger. I would come back again to try out some of the other menu items, such as the Kalua combo or the Hawaiian BBQ mix. Oyes!

I personally love their house salad with edamame seeds. I tried their Fire Island Chicken and liked it. Service was good. A little noisy and people tend to slide their chair across the floor causing an annoying sound.

This is my first time coming to this Ono location and I like it better than other locations! First off, this location is bigger than others. There is a long table in the middle, great for big groups and also a whole wall full of cushion seats. It’s very clean and since two of the walls are windows, the place gets a lot of light. My server was really nice too. No regrets getting my late lunch here!

This is my first time coming to this particular location. I normally go to another one closer to my house but I was in the area and saw this one. I want to make it clear that I luv luv luv their food. The problem is, at this particular spot, they charge you extra for substituting meat(for example, if you get want the need instead of the chicken with a meal that originally comes with chicken). I wouldn’t have cared too much, except the usual spot I go to, never charges me. So just FYI. Btw their beef was super salty, no bueno. Service wise was so-so. The girl at the register was nice but her manager needs a little help in her customer service skills.
