My husband and I googled this place. We weren’t sure about it at first but decided to give it a try anyway. We do not regret it! This place is great, food is delicious service is great. The wait is a little long since the food is made fresh. But it’s worth it!

This place has the worst food. The chips they serve at the beginning are meant for nachos and not for salsa, the pupusas are very bland very oily and the masa seems very undercooked. Horchata I don’t recommend it because it’s not authentic and feels heavy when it reaches your stomach. PLEASEDONTMAKETHEMISTAKE I DIDANDDONTVISITTHISRESTAURANT!!!

This place was introduce by my father. I instantly fell in love with the atmosphere and the rich food smell, especially the revuelta pupusas that was follow with a nice cold horchata. Needless to say, It’s a great place to try Salvadorean food for the first time. Buen provecho.

Service here is great and the pupusas are delicious. They have different choices, my favorite are the revueltas, queso con loroco, and chicharron. The pupusas have a good masa to stuffing options ratio. There are several other pupusas spots in the area, but I would consider this one a pretty good one. I love the fact that you can phone in your order and pick up to go to avoid the wait time as they make them from scratch. They also serve other traditional salvadorans dishes.

I’ve been coming to this place for years. Its very homey and the owner is very nice. Everything is made fresh to order so be prepared to wait. They have plenty of choices when it comes to pupusas. My faves are Loroco con Queso and Spinach con Queso. Their chicharron pupusa is decent too… I tried the jalapeño one and it was too much heat not enough flavor. The real reason I like coming here is for the Atole de Maiz… on a chilly day it both warms and fills you up. Its not upscale but definitely worth trying if you’re in the area and craving some pupusas.

Lots o’ fun discoveries here. I have never heard of a Salvi place that makes pupusas with jalapenos. I thought Central Americans left the searing heat to the Mexicans. I had to try it just to see. It was wonderful! And the jalapeño model was one of nearly 10 pupusas they offered. Spinach and squash among them. All were available with either corn or rice flour.(Is it masa if it’s made of rice? I got no clue.) They also offered banana empanadas. I took a couple of these home and had my brother gasping in delight after a single bite. He swears I’m trying to fatten him up. I contend that there are many worse things than getting plump off of food made with love. Enjoy the love and dig into some good eats, right here.
