I have been attending for decades, and always put this on the agenda for visiting friends and relatives. There is something for everyone of all ages. Everyone has loved it!

For 75 cents to get in, I can’t complain much. It’s a lot of the same stuff you’ll find in the fashion district at around the same prices, but there is some different stuff occasionally, too. Prices are okay, but they’re nothing to write home about. I don’t think I’d come back since the fashion district has more stuff, and some of it is cheaper than here.

I like this swapmeet, they have lots of stuff to see, new and used, the food is great, lots of vendors and lots of people that come here every weekend, you can usually find what you’re looking for, and at good prices, the parking is free, just be careful where you park so nobody hits your car

My partner and I always take his grandma and his niece here on weekends. It’s fun to just pay your little 75 cents and walk around to look at all the randomness that’s for sale. A few highlights of this particular swap meet: –The plant place at the back by the place that sells peanuts is pretty much the only place I buy plants. You can find full grown rose bushes here for less than 10 bucks, and they always have little dollar flowers that are fun additions to the planter boxes on my porch. Don’t ever waste your money at Home Depot again! –The snack bar at this swap meet is my favorite of any swap meet in the area except maybe Santa Fe Springs. The taco plate is like $ 5 and you get 3 tacos, rice and beans. They also have really good fresh waters and horchata and stuff like that. I always come here not having eaten so I can have a tasty lunch and listen to the band playing oldies. –The fresh produce places here are also really great; lots of delicious goodies at reasonable prices. They don’t really have any great electronic stands here. At places like Vineland you can find really great electronics on sale for rock-bottom prices, but Rosemead vendors have wised up to that and don’t really sell stuff at great prices.

I mean a swap meet is a swap meet. LOL. I guess, i mean if you have been to the Costa Mesa one then this is one is just plain ghetto, but I mean you go here for random stuff? and to bargain of course! =P I see that they have cleaned it up a lot over the years. It also looks like it’s more empty, not as many sellers and they don’t sell bunnies or puppies anymore like DTLA. I guess it’s better cause it’s hot. I did see a turtle in the sun and it was flipped over. T__T poor turtle. RIP. Overall, I usually only come here when it is something I can’t get in DTLA or i dunno. my mom asks me to get her something specifically from here. LOL

I was strictly sent by my mother to get her some potted plants. Yet again, she fails to mention all sorts of things that I would be expecting going into that place. Given only half the story in fragmented parts that makes no sense. The parking lot is okay, a bit cramped for space as people are coming and leaving at all times. No blown out tires, that was a plus for the place I was entering. I thought paying for a fee of 75 cents for each person was a simple hilarious joke, but I was mistaken. If they were going to collect a fee at the door or in their case a booth and then a guy sitting under an umbrella ripping carnival tickets, maybe spend all that loose change in revamping the place to more up to date. They should have a better system in place on distributing location for each vendor like this section is selling apparel, toys, tools, household goods, plants, and etc. Luckily after about like 30 minutes I was able to locate the vendor that matches my moms description mostly, at least she got that part right. The vendor that I bought from actually made it worth my time for even going. In my opinion they had well over 10 years to make the place more presentable to the public. Well at least they had a cop sitting near the front waiting and watching for any signs of trouble. Make it a little bit safer even though a lot of the stuff being sold looks like it has been stolen. Even saw a fake Super Soaker 1500 for sale.

This is my local swap meet. We call it the«Chico Swap Meet.» Place is decent for a swap meet. It’s smaller than most of the swap meets in the area. They still offer the same opens: fake Gucci glasses & fake Levis pants, Parking is free, but most swap meets usually offer this.

Like la fashion district in a bazaar. But maybe better because it has a little bit of everything like electronics and home furnishings and plants and candy etc. $ 1.50 to enter. Good deals. Parking right next to it. A little hard to find parking as its packed but you will find it eventually or park on the street and walk. My favorites? The fancy peeler guy with juicer, the cactus, the $ 5 pillows, the cool knife booth, the HUGE array of Mexican and Latino snacks at the snack stands, Hair stand… a lot of the booths have people who can’t speak English but the kids are happy to explain to you the prices. Muy bien!
