The food is good enough. It’s above average compared to the pricing, but defintely nothing special. They have a daily food special that is always a bargain. Reasonable prices for beer/drinks and dirt cheap pitcher specials if you are down to drink some piss(sometimes I am). The place is huge on the inside, pretty new looking, and they have a ton of seating. There is definitely enough TV’s and they play the sound loud during important games. You can come here in sweat pants or all dressed up before a night out on the town, it doesn’t matter; nothing does though, does it? Overall I recommend this place.

Wanted to watch a game on Sunday Ticket during a recent visit to Boston and was told this was the only place around that would have it. We understood there would probably be a wait, but this was ridiculous. Took 30 minutes for the waitress to even come by and take our drink order and then took another 20 minutes to get the beer brought to us. The table next to us had their order messed up 3 different times, so we didn’t even bother ordering(not that we ever saw our waitress again anyway). If we visit Boston again, this place will not be on our list!

Always has the worst staff. Today’s waitress takes the cake. We had to yell at her and chase her to put in any sort of order. The people next to us said they asked for a drink and she said«No, pitchers only.» Lol. Had to get our own napkins, plates, etc. Waitress took my fiancé’a cup for no reason and never brought a new one. And can we got some mother fucking AC up in this bitch? Only reason people come here is because it’s large and has lots of TVs and cheap pitchers. Food is pretty good but on a Sunday you won’t get it for an hour. Go in the bathroom and there’s no TP and the paper towel holder is supposed to be motion censored but it’s broken. Who hires these waitresses? They are not only ugly but slow and ill mannered. Don’t they want a tip of any kind??? I just don’t understand it. This is your career and you can’t do it halfway decently? What have your mental capacities already been taxed by? Raising your 3 illegitimate children from different dads? That’s all.

This place is great for large groups! & to catch a game. They have plenty pf TVs. Atmosphere could get a bit loud but that’s expected. Food was good. They have specials each day. I went on Wednesday and it’s half off burgers which is a great deal. I’d come back for the good deals. Service was so-so. A bit slow. But overall, I would come back for the food.

Been here twice since my son moved to Boston. Both times service was good. A medium burger appears to be well done here, no pink at all. Good beer selection. Long Island ice teas are weak and $ 9 bucks. All in all a cool place, good music and many Tv’s. Tables open to fresh air on a nice day which is a plus.

They were out of every IPA we tried to order. The waitress was very unpleasant. If you are going to drink just coors lite you’re good, but that’s all I’d expect.

Who doesn’t love a close neighborhood sports bar that has pool tables, hoops, and jello shots? I haven’t had the jello shots, but it’s nice to know they are there. This place is big on the inside and a great place to belly up to the bar. It isn’t really yuppy southie, but it’s a great neighborhood feel to it. The people that sit at the bar tend to be regulars, the staff seems to be local, and everyone there is ready to cheer on a team they like and razz a team they hate. I’ve had the burger, it was solid. They have a decent menu with all your classic pub food. They also do specials like wednesday burgers are half priced. Keeping an eye on their facebook page keeps you in the know. There’s a lot of room, and a big bar area. I haven’t been here at night and can’t vouch for the atmosphere, mostly been there during off peak hours for quick grub when I’m too lazy to go to the grocery store. I’d go back because it’s close, and if I get bored I can always shoot pool!

I stopped in here to watch a football game while on a business trip. The bar was spacious and inviting. It’s a very casual atmosphere with a nice selection of beers and food. There are plenty of televisions. The area is kind of remote and not in the center of things but the service is great. If you’re looking for a chill place to catch a game, this is a great option. Enjoy!

I went to Stadium on a Monday night and had a really good time. They closed an hour earlier than what we believed but the drinks were good, the 2 dollar jello shots were good, and service was good. Our bartender was really nice. Being that we went on such a slow night and so late they only had chips and salsa to serve us but the specific chips they served tasted wonderful and heated. I would recommend this place with the perfect group of people the night will be good.

Great spot for drinks and pub fare. The $ 2 Coors Light drafts keeps me coming back. They have a discounted food special everyday of the week. I love the Friday fish & chips for $ 8.95, best deal in town. It’s an affordable bar in southie with a great staff and above average food. Check it out!!!

My main gripe here was that the TVs were way too loud, and everyone had to scream to talk. The bass was turned up too loud and you really couldn’t hear much of what was being played on the TVs. They do have great burgers and large portions though, which is good. The service can be spotty; we had a pretty good server, but some people in my party had a not so pleasant interaction with one of the bartenders. The manager did stop by to apologize, which was nice. It’s a decent place to hang out with friends to catch a game if you are looking for something low key and not too fancy.

I really hate writing one-star reviews because of one bad experience so I very rarely do. But this experience was pretty bad. I’ll start with the general positives though: Trivia night on Wednesdays is great. A group of us try to go once a week — although it’s been tough to achieve during the summer because everyone gets so busy. Their daily specials are awesome, especially $ 4 burger Wednesdays and $ 3 chicken quesadilla Thursdays. The bar décor is really good and they have a ton of awesome, up-to-date TVs for sports. All the waitresses are really nice and attentive and I’ve never had any complaints about the service. Prices are good and food is above average bar food. So last night, a few buddies and I went to the Stadium for $ 3 chicken quesadillas to watch the Patriots game. It was packed, we got a spot at the bar — it was a lot of fun. When we were about to leave I asked the bartender — who was very sweet and attentive — if I could order a $ 3 chicken quesadilla to-go for my fiancée. She told me that she was sorry but the $ 3 special price was for eat-in only. So I told her that was no problem, that I would pay the full price, and what was it. She told me it was $ 7.95. Okay, cool $ 5 is no big deal… When it came to pay the bill, the to-go quesadilla was listed as $ 9.95 — must have been a mistake, so I called her over. She told me that the chicken was an extra $ 2. Miscommunication, that’s fine. I asked her if she could change it to what she quoted me: $ 7.95. So she left and then over came Josh, the manager, who immediately was grumpy that he had to talk to me. I explained to him very politely the situation: that his bartender made an honest mistake and quoted me the wrong price, but that I would still like to pay $ 7.95 because that’s what she told me — totally a fair request. Josh told me that the chicken quesadilla was $ 9.95 and there was nothing he could do. Really? Of course there is. As a manager you back up your employee on her mistake and remove the $ 2 from the bill. Let’s be serious here, $ 2 doesn’t matter one way or the other for me or Josh. But the fact that he wouldn’t simply rectify a mistake like a restaurant manager should and deduct it from the bill was shocking. He immediately got frustrated with me, threw the bill at me on the bar and said«This is your bill, there’s nothing I can do.» So I told him«I’m not paying it.» And he immediately yelled at me «Well then you’re not welcome here anymore.» I asked him what his name was so I could write him a bad review on Unilocal and he yelled back at me while walking away«Go ahead, I don’t give a f*ck about Unilocal.» Talk about horrible and insulting customer service. After the bartender saw all of this go down she removed the $ 9.95 from our bill and gave me the quesadilla anyways, as well as free jello shots for my group to say sorry. Other bartenders were also shocked at the confrontation and were apologizing to me and saying«Sorry for that… but he’s my boss.»

Mc Fadden’s? Where’d you head off to buddy? It’s McFadden’s remarketed as more of a sports bar instead of drunken Irish drinking hub spot. It’s a cool spot. Definitely has all you need to have a great night watching sports and kicking back.

Everything about this place is average and generic… from the menu, to the beer selection, to the staff. Nothing is special, but nothing is horrible either. Standard bar food and a bunch of TVs, if that’s what you’re looking for. I also tried two different drafts, and they tasted funky. I’m not an expert by any means, but I do drink copious amounts of beer. My guess is that they don’t clean the lines as often as they should.

This place is suck. Terrible service from incompetent and apathetic servers. Horrible food. Yeah, they serve standard bar food but considering the quality of ingredients they use, they should lower the prices. Been several times with work colleagues and now I shudder everytime it is suggested we go here. So many other places in the area…

Old Colony Ave location. Review for both the function hall, and the bar downstairs. I was invited to a birthday function at this location, but I was one of the volunteers(photographers/guestlist) so I had to come a little early. I got here around 7pm with a small group of people. Things were still pretty snafu as we were waiting for everyone else. For a place in Boston, it was actually pretty casual. I’m used to people being dressed up wherever I go in Boston. The drink prices were pretty decent, and they had specials for $ 2 pints and $ 8 pitchers. The only thing was you’re technically not allowed to bring pitchers upstairs. Which wasn’t a big deal for me since I was designated driver anyways. They also did catering for the food upstairs. It was just finger-foods like mozzarella sticks, wings, and bread sticks — but it was still something. I really liked the wings because they weren’t too saucy or dry. Now for the technical stuff: –The(dj) lighting system upstairs could use an update. It’s too concentrated towards the front, and doesn’t come from above and around enough. What happens is it starts to look like you’re dancing with silhouettes. –It says there’s a parking lot, but in actuality that’s like 8 spaces — most of which will be poorly parked and taken by the time you get there. There’s street parking too, but it could be a hike depending on the size of your party. –Staff seems to be temp unless you’re talking to the manager. Procedures that are standard elsewhere are gray here. Communication between all levels of staff should be clearer. Waiting is a dangerous thing to make customers do while you clear it with other people. All in all, I can see this establishment being good for watching sports and casual outings. However, they need to work out a few kinks.

The service: 4: We could never locate our waitress and she was a bit forgetful The seating: 3: There weren’t enough chairs for a bar! The food: 7: I ordered a salad, it was edible… was it amazing, no. The bathroom: 8: ironically bathroom was most impressive part — clean, functional The bouncer/id checker: I am not even ganna bother rating. the guy asked me for another form of identification… really? I fly with my ID and my identity obviously isn’t questioned because I look like my ID… but okay sir. Whatever, I guess maybe it’s a form of a compliment and when I’ll be 30 I’ll look like I’m 20?

I like it. I do, really. I can go out on a Saturday night in jeans and a T-shirt, play some darts, and drink some beers. No fuss, no muss. Just come here to have a good time. Minus one star for the fact that the bartenders don’t know how to make certain shots.

Came here for a comedy show. The service was so-so. The waitress was not familiar with what was on tap. In the middle of telling me the IPAs she walked away. I went to the bar and got my own. The bartender was swift and attentive. My friend had to go downstairs to get a drink because the upstairs bar didn’t have the ingredients. The waitress was good with food service. The food is typical bar fare. We had half price apps. The nachos were my least favorite, topped with melted shredded cheese, too much canned salsa, sour cream, canned jalapenos, and what appeared to be guacamole made from mix. I would come back. Nothing to write home about, but not bad either.
