My first visit… Catfish sandwich and hush puppies. Fish was super fresh on bakery bread, hush puppies were superb, the best I’ve ever had!

JJ fish and chicken is pretty good. It’s a southern fried spin on seafood. If your into fried foods or soul food you’ll like JJ fish and chicken. I like that they have a wider variety of seafood. A lot of soul food places just have catfish, and shrimp. But JJ fish and chicken has deep fried oysters, perch, and white fish. Their seafood items are kinda on the pricey side, but it’s good soul food.

Got the fried catfish fillet. Pretty good, definitely on the greasy side. Got another person working the counter, and once again she was super friendly.
Still just ok. There are lots of other fried food places around, and it’s about time to go try them.
