The pizza is always good but usually a bunch of teenagers are running the place so the service isn’t great. They’re usually talking to each other and not very attentive to customers. If you order around dinner time it usually takes awhile. The sit-in restaurant area is pretty basic and really small but usually pretty clean. They serve pizza by the slice for lunch so it’s a good place to stop in for a quick bite to eat over lunch hour.

Is this location even open? We recently attempted to order pizza on a recent Saturday evening(thanks to a half-off deal we purchased) and there was no answer and the place was shut down. We ended up ordering from the downtown South Bend location and they were very evasive about what was happening at the River Park location when asked.

I don’t always eat pizza, but when I do, it’s Bruno’s. Only get to the region every other year for a football weekend, but I always take out at a Bruno’s twice each trip. While not a pizza aficionado, for my taste, this is the best anywhere. The sauce and cheese is authentic Italian, the sausage not even always necessary. Thanks Bruno’s for so many great years.
