32 beer rotating on draft, awesome selection of beer, pools table, dart boards, and great Mexican good next door that you can eat in the bar. Not to mention all of the bartenders are really nice. Need I say more?

Cool owners, great beer and casual atmosphere. Popcorn to snack on was nice add on. Beer variety is pretty solid– wife and I did a flight of beer each. After chatting it up, they provided us some additional free samples. Clean place, I love dive bars however this was not a dive at all. More local hang out.

Good selection of brews and nice local atmosphere. TouchTunes jukebox and various furniture are nice and modern. Not that many seats by the bar. Taproom is definitely a great place to enjoy cold beers avoiding the hot Sonoma climate.
Location is convienent. Perhaps go see a movie at the theater nearby? Whatever… If you like taprooms and happen to be in Sonoma, this place is worth a visit. Cheers!

What a fun local joint for a fun getaway! They have big screens, pool tables, darts, and over 30 draft beers to boast! Close to the cinemas even in case you didn’t want to watch the film your spouse chose! Westside beer pub!

Love a good dive bar, but this place was just a contrived dump. Everyone there was over 50. Do not enjoy drinking beer at the local Senior Citizens Center. The location is lousy. You are in a bad part of Sonoma and cannot walk to the next place when you get bored with this one. Servers were unfriendly. My good looking girlfriend was the only woman in the place. Wouldn’t you want to be nice to her so the majority of your Senior Citizen customers had something nice to look at? Maybe it was an alternative crowd? Could not get out of the place fast enough. Cannot think of a single positive thing to say about the experience and will not go back.

Olde Sonoma Puclic House had a name like a sammie place. .WRONG! it’s a pub. wide open ones with lots of draughts. just my luck. wasn’t gonna drink and drive.

Stopped here in the afternoon looking for a good beer and a sandwich. They had good beer, but only free popcorn. You can order from the taqueria around the corner. By the name I was expecting a historical building with a story and was shocked to find it in a strip shopping center type building. We had two beers, some popcorn and met a great local who gave us some good advice about Sonoma.

Disapppinting. Although they do have a lot on tap it’s nothing you couldn’t get in the store. Don’t buy the Groupon voucher.

We got a groupon for a beer tasting here and I was impressed. They have 32 beers on tap and let you choose ANY of the 32 for the tasting. I always feel there are places that keep certain beers off their tasting menus… Anyway, the atmosphere is okay and the beers were good. One funny side note, they do offer Pabst Blue Ribbon as one of their 32 beers on tap as if that is some special beer that can’t be bought anywhere. No thanks Olde Sonoma, I had enough of that in college.

I love Olde Sonoma. It may seem like your average bar with pool, darts, music and whatever sports game is on. But what makes Olde Sonoma special are the things you come to appreciate as a regular. Come in on a slower night, order food from the taqueria next door, sit at the bar, order a beer, maybe sample something you’ve never tried, chat with the bartenders and watch the game (I come for the Warriors games). You won’t be disappointed!

Olde Sonoma consistently provides access to some really delicious brews. This has been my favorite spot in Sonoma since I moved here a few years ago. I have also learned a lot about different styles of beer, and have been able to find my own favorites thanks to the various varieties Coley is always bringing in.
Great staff as well. Brian has even cautioned me on beers that he knows are not in my usual taste range, always making sure to give me a sample if I ask for a pint. How can you beat that? Also, whenever i ask Casey what’s new and pouring well, he always has good info and recommendations to share.
Plus, free popcorn, jukebox that seems to have infinite amounts of songs, pool table and darts, and sports on TV. I love this place!

Love it here, but honestly only come when Brian’s here. It’s the only nights they stay open long enough and he always gets me a beer I like even though I’m not sure what I like.

Went in with a groupon and low expectations and was totally blown away! The bartender was a sweetheart with great beer knowledge who even helped my non beer drinking friends find something to enjoy. The jukebox had an amazing selection of songs that kept us dancing all night and letting the place next door deliver food when we needed it was just the topper on a perfect experience. I can’t say enough about how much fun this place was, add it to your next trip to Sonoma and your wont be sorry.

This is a good place to go get a beer after the cinemas. There is pool, darts, occasional band. Nice outdoor seating. Pretty cleanly front lounge.

Going to basically a beer ONLY place means I’ll just sit there and be sober, but thanks to the lovely bartender I was able to partake with the homies. A Nantucket Handshake — Pino Grig topped with Apple Cider! It was refreshing and delicious!
Top that off with ordering and delivery of Mexican food from next door and I was a happy gal! Beer connoisseur I am not, but I can safely say this is an amazing, random spot for those of you, especially snobby, beer drinkers — this place has something like 32 beers on tap, a plethora in bottles, and tons of beer paraphernalia.
I don’t drink beer, but I’d come back here any day!

Came here a few weeks back. I was excited by the rave reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar.
I was excited to see their list of craft beers on tap, but out of all of them, none really stood out. We did 2 tasters of 6 different beers, and nothing was really that great. I didn’t even end up ordering a pint. They also have about 5 or more beers that are not craft beers.
It was a warm day, so we sat on their «patio» which was dirty, filled with ash trays, and a bunch of smokers.
The bartender wasn’t very knowledgeable about the beers on tap or all that friendly. I guess if you like dive bars this is your place, but I won’t be back, and I know the other 7 people in my group felt the same way.

With 32 beers on tap (always from my favorite west coast and international breweries), there’s almost no reason to make use of the well– chosen wine list. This is a pub so there’s no hard liquor served, which means that the local, friendly hangout-​and-​have-​a-​chat vibe lingers well into the night.
This is a good place to bring your friends or a date after going to see a movie. If you tire of the pool table, there’s always some darts or pin ball to occupy your time until the game comes on. Every Thursday there’s live music ranging from indie/​bluegrass to hard rock: whatever the lical music scene has to offer.
This pub has a coffee house atmosphere and great staff. The local ownership should be proud of their well-​nourished establishment.
And prices are great for any budget, with such a wide selection of brews.

Loved to find this place. We stumbled upon this place when a person we were considered sharing a living situation with suggested we meet him here. Was pleasantly surprised.
The person behind the bar was very helpful and even admitted that none of the current selections fit what type of beer I was looking for. I wanted something super hoppy but not too bitter, though not sweet either. They had just run out of Lagunitas IPA the day or so before, and I wasn’t in the mood for a Racer 5. She had me try several to get me interested in something else that they did have. Worked great! Found another beer I was in the mood for, a nice unfiltered wheat.
We were there in an early afternoon on a week day and even then it was decently stocked with people. There was still ample bar and table seating though.
Once our meeting was done we moved to the bar from a table and grabbed another pint. Great craic! So many fun people to chat with.
We noted how they let you bring in food from the place next door, or really from anywhere since they don’t have a kitchen and they want you to stay and drink more beer! Cool!
We were instant fans of this place! If we’re in the area again, we’re so stopping at this place for a pint. Love the awesome selection. If anything, I’ve been to other places with just as awesome of a selection, however these places are all spread out and few and far in between. I am so stoked to find another!
Sooooo refreshing to find a place where the locals chill in Sonoma that is unpretentious unprecocious and just a good ol’ time with a pint.
