The frozen yogurt is still fine, but the makeover the new owner gave the restaurant is baffling. I have no idea what to make of the interior decorating; they took down the local artists’ work and mirrors in favor of shots of the Eiffel Tower and Marilyn Monroe. The service is also a lot slower, now, and the menu – wherein you must build a sandwich each time – seems like a terrible model. I miss the old menu when it comes to the non-dessert items. Also, uniforms now? The«Euro-Mediterranean feel» the owner is going for feels a lot less personal. It’s still a great spot, though, with free wifi.

Love the addition of the sandwiches(which taste really good). I ordered the charcoal-grilled chicken and really liked the flavor. It has a much better taste than gas-grilled chicken. Also, it’s awesome now that I can get my coffee for breakfast, then lunch, then dinner, and dessert(nutella hot chocolate and froyo) all in one location.

First time at Iyo bistro. Had their Egg n cheese on an everything bagel & hot chocolate. Bagel was New York style and fresh and hot chocolate was very tasty. Place was very clean and staff were very helpful. Seems like they have a very nice menu. Be back soon for lunch

Falefel? Their on the menu but when I came in twice they didn’t even have them ready. The strawberries looked old and rotten. The owner or I don’t even know if he’s the owner is all talk and everything looks the same. Don’t put anything on the menu if you don’t have it to serve.

First time back since the renovation happened. Charcoal grilled chicken was tasty and moist, had it on a pita. Also had the hummus and falafel platters. You can tell they were made fresh. Very tasty and plates are very large portions(4 people all together). Also thank god they kept the frozen yogurt. Little understaffed, you can tell they are being trained, but I think they will be fine

Pretty much the same as before. Great coffee/sandwich/froyo place in Davis. Their menu was updated post renovation, mostly with the sandwich offerings. I come here for their froyo, which is pretty great for a self serve, pay by weight place. Definitely a great café to chill, eat, do some work, etc.
