Glass & Mirror is fantastic! They stopped by to fix a storm door and since it only took 10 minutes they did not charge. Guess what — they have just earned a customer for life! Kudos to Glass & Mirror.

I needed to replace the glass in a double hung window. I made a mistake so the first one they ordered was not the right one. They reordered and were nice about it despite it being my fault.
After finally getting the right glass installed and bringing it home, I noticed that one of the plastic tabs that keeps the pane in place was broken. I don’t know if I broke it or they did (I suspect they did), but it doesn’t really matter as they were very good about getting a replacement part and putting it in for me at no charge. Great service!
The price of the glass seemed high though so I might shop around to compare prices next time.

I needed some exterior window work done at my condo. Even though I was the 3rd floor and they needed a 40ft ladder to get at our picture window they didn’t shy away from the work.
Great experience. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Flexible scheduling. I really appreciated the guys taking the time to review what they were going to do, what they did and why they did it. Not only did my work get done, but I feel I learned a bit.
Definitely recommend them to anyone in the area in need of some glass or mirror work.

I ordered & received a mirror for a bathroom vanity. I emailed them a drawing w/​dimensions, location /​size of hole, and the required edge polishing, and that’s the extent of what I had to do. The receptionist asked if the hole-​drill location dimensions were «on-​center», which showed she was really scrutinizing my drawing (since my drawing was a bit vague on this).

I have been to Glass and Mirror several times in the last few weeks with various repairs. They are very knowledgeable and I was able to repair windows that I thought I would have to completely replace. Most recently they are able to locate an obscure part I needed which saved me buying a new window. They also didn’t want to charge me for this, but I insisted on paying. They are a really excellent Somerville business.

G&M recently replaced a portrait window for us — their estimators were pleasant and courteous, the glass arrived when they estimated it would and they installed it quickly and efficiently as soon as the weather permitted.
My only negative comment (and this is a very minor one) was that I had to chase them a bit in order to get a receipt after the fact, in case I ever needed to make a warranty claim.

A frustrating experience with lots of miscommunication and wasted time. I will say that the owner/​manager was quite professional throughout the process, though I still walked away without a finished job and feeling quite annoyed.
