It’s a shame, this place was a good option in the past. Some of the staff are friendly, but there’s a new attendant who isn’t. He closes early before the posted last wash even, turning me away at 6:15 once, and rudely. They are one of the only Somerville places with a bathroom you can use(at least the friendly staff don’t mind), but closing early frequently(and trying to even while your clothes are drying!?) is just impossible. I’d rather walk further and be treated better.

I don’t know about drop off service, I can’t afford that luxury. I’ve been here a couple of times. Once to check it out(new to neighborhood) and once because I had no choice. At least 1⁄3rd of machines were broken. The prices are outrageous. $ 6.25 for a triple loaded? Please. 7 min dry time for $ 0.25. Even the regular machines are ridiculously priced. Saw the elderly female attendant verbally abuse a customer for trying to overload a washer. Ok, we get it, bad move… but don’t keep harping on it and yelling«I TOLDYOU!» and then talking to a second customer about that«stupid woman» within earshot of her. Totally classless.

Every couple of weeks I’ll bring 40 or so lbs. of laundry down to Cobble Hill Laundromat. The price for them to do my clothes is 1 dollar per pound. That’s not bad considering: –I work down the street –They clean, press and fold your laundry –I drop it off at 11 and pick it up at 3 –The people there are very nice If you don’t have time but have run out of clean undies, head over to Cobble Hill Laundromat, they’ll take care of everything for you!
