My friends and family bought clothing from Carters for my baby shower– and many of them bought the same thing! I go to return the clothes for some store credit to use when baby arrives (and I can buy season– appropriate clothing for his as yet unknown size) and the manager at Carters informs me that this is no longer possible. You can only exchange for the same as the clothing is worth right now– so if it goes on clearance, you cannot get the value of the gift that your friends and family paid for! What a terrible policy– so unfriendly to new moms. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Now I can truly say that I am a huge Carter’s fan and after shopping at this location, I think I just found my home store.
This Carter’s in Assembly Row is one of the largest Carter’s I have visited. This store had a huge selection of items, but what had me hooked was the phenomenal selection of clearance items they had. We ended up buying two bags stuffed with clothing items and spent under $ 100.
The only critique that I had with this store was the fact that they allowed a customer to use a 15% off coupon on all of their clearance items but didn’t allow us to use it on ours. Beyond this critique, we enjoyed the experience and will be back in the future!
