In 2013, I realized that I was going to need significant help if I wanted to dance and enjoy my wedding. Over the years, I had lost considerable strength and agility to numerous injuries making it difficult to walk down stairs. In April of that year, I began training with Sean Collins, now owner of Built in Boston. As a trainer, Sean is a great motivator. He knows when to push and when to back off. He provides a solid framework to achieve your goals and he keeps workouts fresh and challenging. Over the last three years, my body has transformed and I am able to participate in activities that I used to enjoy. I’m stronger and more agile than before my injuries. Additionally, Sean introduced my husband and I to kettlebell, which is an excellent way to combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. We make it our goal to attend his two 30-minute kettlebell classes every week. Sean has changed our lives for the better and we are thankful that he continues to train in the Somerville area.
