This is the store that when the power goes out and the entire town is dark, everybody shows up for FNM anyway, and they bring candles. True story.

Listen, this isn’t the Taj Mahal, but it’s a nice store run by friendly people. When you step inside you know you’re in a store for gamers, by gamers. You’re greeted by the staff and perhaps some of the fun loving scamps playing d&d, or some of the locally famous people playing magic. The store has a great collection of everything: dolls, action fingers, clothes, games, magic, sports cards dollhouses etc. This is a good place.

While this store has a decent selection of games, systems, and assorted other collectibles, I was rather disappointed by the prices and over-all cleanliness of the establishment. The floor was cluttered with piles of stuff, all dusty and grimy, making it difficult to truly see what the store has to offer. I was in the market for Sega Genesis and NES games, and was shocked by the prices. For being told that they’re fairly priced, I’ve seen better. Way better. And as for their N64 collection, it was the stereotypical sports, wrestling, random collection that you can generally find at any establishment. There was a glass cabinet displaying their ‘better’ merchandise, but again, it was hard to look at because the items were stacked on each other, making it hard to see exactly what was there. Here again, the prices were astronomical. Games that generally retail for $ 8 – 10 were marked up 3x or more! While they have decent collections of games, I’d rather do some digging and find games at their retail price.
