Just saw a movie yesterday! Love this place! It’s clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Love the guy behind the bar. I wish I got his name! I enjoyed a strawberry daiquiri with a friends and an awesome movie A+++

Recently remodeled and now a Carmike Cinemas Digiplex. We’ve had great experiences here. The seating is new and very comfortable with fold-up armrests so you can snuggle up to your date. Some of the seats are motion/vibrate capable which is fun when you’re watching an action movie. And the strangest thing, the theatre never seems crowded or terribly busy. We’ve come here for new releases/opening nights of big action movies and there are only ever a handful of people in the theatre. I’ve also found the other theatre-goers to be pleasant. I’ve never had a bad experience with people using cell phones, talking, or otherwise disturbing my movie watching experience. Maybe it’s just the movies we choose to see or the times we go, but its usually a very pleasant experience. My new favorite theatre.

Lots of movies screen here. No different from other theaters. Before 6 pm movies are $ 6.75. Nice, clean restrooms. New, tho, was a liquor bar with stools and tables. Odd for a family establishment. Don’t know if you can take a drink into the show. Still odd.

Tucked away into Solon’s Aurora Rd industrial parkway, this multiplex is hidden from the average visiter to Solon. This may be one of the reasons this facility is normally a ghost town. The other reason may be the riff raff that this complex seems to attract like a highpowered magnet. On one occassion, during the conclusion of a film, a family of four(2 very young children) walk in oddly enough. Aside from thinking how strange this was we continued viewing the film. Then the father/adult male of the group pulls his cell phone out distracting all behind him. Figuring this can’t possibly go on much longer, his phone rings and he takes the call right in the middle of the theater! Completely distracted by this ignorance, the film ends and we leave. As one of our group takes a quick restroom stop, he sees the family walk into ANOTHER film! Clearly the motive of these people are to catch as many segments of what was playing that night without paying and be disrespectful to the honest, paying patrons in the process. Of course we reported these thieves to a theater worker, but I don’t know how it panned out. The point of this story is that security needs to step up at this facility. I understand there can’t be someone present in each movie viewing, monitoring the clowns in the room at all times. Ensuring people are paying for their film should be critical, however. Heeding this advice will surely continue to bring the scum in by the busload with no intention of keeping this complex monetarily afloat, while at the same time scaring away those that are willing to pay with their hard earned money who just want a fun, safe movie experience.
