Scott is absolutely amazing. I’ve purchased jewelry from him, he’s fixed and cleaned my wedding set… he’s ooozing with integrity (which I can’t say of most jewelers I’ve met). He always gets done what he says he’s going to do for a fair price. He works hard and really does an amazing job. I will not use another jeweler because I’ve found someone I trust who does excellent work.

After arriving by train from Los Angeles, we decided to take a walk along Cedros Avenue which is lined with interesting shops. Looked in the window of Vision of Gold and loved the jewelry I saw. The designs were so elegant and yet, simple. Stones were gorgeous and saw unusual minerals. My husband and I went in and the proprietor, who is the owner of the shop and designer of the jewelry could not have been nicer. Also, he was very helpful. Although not planning on buying jewelry that day, I walked out with a stunning gold necklace and a pair of earrings. I found the prices to be quite fair and the craftsmanship was outstanding. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. 2 minute walk from the Solana Beach train station.

I am so happy that I found Scott at Visions of Gold. I had a terrible experience at another jeweler (Highlands Jewelers) who damaged two of my rings to the point where one of them was cracked and both of them had diamonds that were close to falling out (a family heirloom ring and my new engagement ring). Scott repaired the damage on both rings and did a wonderful job — I can’t tell that they were ever damaged. He has fair prices and does beautiful work. I definitely won’t go anywhere else in the future!

Vision of Gold was recommended to us by the owner of the Antique store on Cedros. What a blessing it has been. Scott has been so easy to work with. We had a 1920’s engagement ring sized (hard to do with the metal being so delicate) and he cleaned and plated it. It looked amazing! Also many pieces of jewelry fixed and cleaned here. He is honest, friendly and very helpful but not pushy. I feel like we found GOLD.

I LOVE my engagement ring! Scott designed a custom engagement ring for me from a photo I had shown him. It exceeded my expectations and exceeded the ring I had seen in the photo! We were able to select the 3 carat pear shaped center stone and the 3 carats worth of tiny diamonds surrounding it. Scott made a wax cast and made sure it was exactly what I had wanted. Not a day goes by without me receiving numerous compliments on my ring. Its AMAZING! I highly recommend Scott to anyone who is in the market for a diamond. This is not mall jewelry! I found him to be reputable, personable and honest. I was referred to Scott by his mother (we volunteer together) ~ can’t get a better recommendation than that!

It all started off with a simple question to the owner of HIS down the street…“Dude, your wedding band is really cool, where did you get it?”
His response, «Right down the street at Visions of Gold… Scott will hook you up!»
And hook it up, he did.
My fiancé was able to find an awesome wedding band at the store for a VERY reasonable price AND you know what they say… when in Rome, do as the Romans do. Since I was in a jewelry store… I had to look around and a few pieces caught my eye. I ended up buying a beautiful pearl necklace and had Scott help design a beautiful set of sapphire and pearl earrings. I love this store and Scott is a great jeweler… he is helpful, honest, and not pushy. So glad we found him!

Scott (the owner & designer) is awesome! He is super nice, professional, knowledgeable and talented.
I had him design my engagement ring. I already had the main diamond. I went in and talked to him and showed him a couple pictures of things I liked. About a week later he had me come in and look at the other diamonds he got for the ring. I asked for some side diamonds that have a rare shape but he found exactly what I wanted. We decided what sizes to use and then he started working on crafting my custom ring :)
It came out great! I love it! And the price for the work that he put in was more than fair. I couldn’t be happier!
