Really cute & corky place. There are some very creative items in this spot. Since they advertise classes on the website that can be scheduled on request, I went down to the store to see if I could schedule a time to paint some items I have. I wanted to learn and the people at the store seemed enthusiastic. I was told that debbie was away for two weeks but she would contact me when she returned. I never heard back. I emailed my original contact wondering if debbie was still interested in helping me… at this point almost two months went by. Unfortunately no one responded to me :(. Boo sort of a pet peeve when a simple email takes two seconds. Perhaps you should not offer classes at the moment since it seems the owner is super busy. Although this is not the worst thing in the world a short response would have been greatly appreciated.

We stumbled across this store as we wandered around Solana Beach. If I had to describe this store, it’s like shopping in a friend’s house… a friend who has a mixture of new and used items. It feels like you’re in someone’s home and everything is for sale. It’s a very interesting experience. The Better Half found some gifts for our niece. It was fun browsing around each room. Definitely something you should try if you’re in the area. Return Factor — 60%

Really fun & quirky beach-themed boutique where one can find all manner of beachy items to decorate the house. Consequently my wife was very enthusiastic about spending some money here. Unfortunately the chilly customer service turned her sunny, beach-going mood cloudy and we left without dropping a nickel. Maybe I should revise my rating and give ‘em 5 stars for saving me money.

This store is a museum of all things beautiful and beachy. They specialize in gifts and home furnishings with a coastal flair. Both old and new, their items are soul-candy evoking that serene sense of being you get when spending time at the seaside. Their Web site offers a virtual tour of the insides of what once once a private residence built in the 1920’s. They also have an online shop, but you must visit them in person to really understand how sweet this place is.
