Moved here recently. Cool apartment, GREAT location, and Lidizel the property manager is superb — friendly, responsive, etc. I am very happy here!

My boyfriend and I moved in this past December and have been very impressed with our Property Manager’s quick response to our needs as well as her customer service. Lidizel is very approachable and attentive. Since living here Ivan, the property’s maintenance technician, has enhanced the property’s curb appeal through lighting and walkway repairs. The property itself is cute and has everything one might need, not to mention the location is spectacular.

Not worth your money — find another place where you pay and get your money’s worth. (6) Property managers are rude and impersonal, except for one. Im a current resident, paid rent and utilities ALWAYS on time, thru their online payment system,(1) which charges you $ 4 convenience fee; I observe rules, Im quiet, clean, pay extra pet fee(2) while most other tenants do not;(3) they increased rent after then was their shortest lease — 9 months; They increase rent and lower quality in service,(4) service has consistently downgraded — very poor repair quality. They leave a mess! Takes several months to place maintenance request to completing repair, and still not complete. (5) Property managers and maintenance crew have changed 5 – 6 times since Ive been here and repair requests get lost during the transition. Online requests get deleted without completion. (7) Noise from the road can get a bit much.(8) Footsteps from a tenants who live above my apartment are ‘noticeable’ but bec I get along with them, I can tolerate it. (8) Most parts of building look neglected and dumpy. Landscape/side walk has very poor upkeep — dog poop, dried fruit and leaves, some trash. (10) Lots of vacancies, leasing signs everywhere which add to place looking more ‘low quality’. The reason why I live here is bec I like the active lifestyle of the neighborhood and its close to my work. After lease, I am moving back to north Del Mar.

This place is a rip off, sure you live by the beach but you get little to nothing for your money. My advice is be patient and rent something from a private party, don’t get involved with corporate scum bags. These apartments are built and maintained as cheaply as possible. My floorboards were rotting away in the bathroom, there was dog hair painted into the walls, the shower head came down the my chest(im 5’10), cheap blinds that fall down. People who live there are scum too, there is always some kind of domestic disturbance going on, police, weed smell, super thin walls, and dog feces are everywhere. The first month I lived there my neighbor went on some sort of drug binge and punched a bunch of holes in my shared wall. The police kicked down his door at around 3am, tasered him and dragged him out screaming. For my trouble they gave me a $ 5 gift card to Starbucks. I broke my lease early there because I was fed up paying $ 1375 to live in a 425 sq foot studio surrounded by dog crap and low lives. Im happy to be out of there.
