If your kid is in consecutive week lessons at Central or West and you are not hitting this slopes, the Commonwealth or Dru Bru are the place to hang out. They have free wifi, and a decent food selection. It is so much better than the West adults only bar(upstairs) with its lackluster service, crowds, and sad beer selection. Minors are allowed and I generally see quite a few kids in Commonwealth.

This place has become out weekly ritual before skiing and lessons. Our goal to try everything on the menu. Today, beefs love chili(amazing) sausage sandwich, pulled pork slider(the best) and apple crisp! Of course we paired our meal with some Dru Bru pilsner and a Moscow mule.

We stopped in here to have lunch before skiing. The food here was delicious! We ordered wings, falafel with chicken and super good! Unfortunately there was a lack of communication on the servers part and it felt like they hoped we didn’t notice our falafel had two dime drops of sauce. But instead we had to ask once we noticed. It would have been nice if the server was like«hey, we’re out of sauce, are you ok to wait or would you like to order something else?» Instead we got our food and waited another 20minutes for them to make more sauce. When we explained that our food is now cold, our food was served to us incomplete and ask for it to be comped they said only 20% off the single item. On top of that we were never asked for a refill on beer until after our food was finished and we were wanting our bill. Good food, bad service and terrible vibes. The servers seem unhappy and definitely left feeling in a worse mood then when we came in, what a downer. Maybe the employees should read the book«Fish.»

Service was great and the décor was cute. It’s very unfortunate that the food was so mediocre(borderline terrible). The Mac and cheese barely had any cheese in it and pasta was overcooked. Pulled pork in the sliders were also way watery(not juicy… watery) and bland. If the food could be overhauled, this could be a great place.

The Commonwealth has such a great feel! It’s a warm, funky, hip place with a fireplace, bar and family style long tables. The food was de-lish! It would be the perfect place to bring one’s family or romantic partner after or before a day in the snow. It was hopping with people of all ages. We need more places like this everywhere… not just the pass. It really speaks to a growing, vibrant, community on the Pass. If you want to be enchanted, check it out!

This place was absolutely magical! We showed up around 11:30am hungry from 2 hours of tubing. There are 3VERY long tables in the restaurant area that make it easy to accommodate parties of all sizes. It was very warm and just felt like the perfect place to warm up and relax. Our waitress Lily was amazing and the menu had plenty of great options for both adults and kiddos. Will definitely be coming back!

Great place to stop and get something to eat after a long day on the mountain. It’s can get pretty loud and crowded so if you are not into that, it’s not the place for you. We ordered the Parmesan/ranch wings, Mac & cheese(with bacon) and the burger and we didn’t have to wait long even though they were slammed. There is a brewery next door that they also deliver their food too which I think is awesome. We will be back next weekend.

As a full time resident of Snoqualmie Pass I’ve been drinking coffee, whiskey and enjoying«Taco Tuesdays on Wednesdays» since this place opened a year ago. I’ve watched the staff struggle through a no-snow winter and then see them thrive throughout the summer by winning the hearts and minds of the local community. Last night, on the eve of what is shaping up to be a stellar season, the place was slammed. It brought me back to my days at the Wobbly Barn in VT or the Moose in Jackson. The level of stoke was through the roof and everyone was recounting their favorite runs and stories of POW face shots. I’ve sampled just about everything on the menu and I personally have not had a bad meal yet. I think they recently brought in additional kitchen staff because there are some really great new items that have popped up on the menu. I prefer the Tacos(obviously), the Jalapeño Poppers(when they are not«melt your face off lava hot») and the Cubano is super tasty and well proportioned. I’m a whiskey on the rocks kind of guy but the bartenders here know how to pour one mean cocktail if that’s your thing. On the weekends the CW’s coffee and homemade, fresh pastries are where it’s at. The breakfast burrito is huge and at 5 Bucks it’s a ski bum’s wet dream. The cinnamon roles are perfect for that long ski tour and and the Jammy Biscuits are great for that sweet tooth… if you can get there before the DOT guys eat them all. I heard that once the season is in full swing they will be doing more traditional breakfast items. I’m not sure what exactly gives brick and mortar«soul» but I’m pleased to see this local joint start to figure how it’s done.

I am seriously not sure how are people giving 5 stars to this place. Maybe we got there on a busy weekend day, and that’s why received a terrible service and terrible food. The waitress asked us if we were ready to order and after we said yes, she just turned around and walked away. Okay… 15 mins later we finally got to order. I wish we should have sticked with some desserts(they were decent) rather than ordering some entrees. Grande nachos consisted of chips, greasy dried cheese, dried black beans, and a couple pieces of jalapeño. «Yum!» The pork sliders had no bbq pulled pork… ummm okay. Again their apple crisp dessert was actually pretty good, so one star for that. Seriously one of the worst experiences I had at the restaurant.

Awesome open atmosphere, full bar and of course lots of beers. Food is amazing. The potato wedges are delicious. Burgers are a little too small for their buns but more than makes up for it in quality. Definitely the hot spot of the Pass.

Been back three times now. Not once have myself or friends I’ve brought been dissatisfied. Chicken sandwich is delicious, BLTA& side salad is also great the 906 burger is amazing. The fries are always made perfectly and come with super good fry sauce. Came on a Saturday night around 7:45 with a group of 15 and we were sat immediately. Great for big groups or small. Ambiance is cozy, and music is great. Can’t go wrong with this place. We find an excuse to drive here for dinner fall the way rom Federal Way at any chance we can. Bathrooms are clean, not to mention, the waiter was totally cool with splitting our bill a number of ways. The Commonwealth is one of a kind.

Staff is really friendly. Atmosphere is casual & the long communal tables are great for big parties or making new friends. Although its not ski season now, I would definitely come here after a day on the slopes. They use local meat & beer. It helps when you have a brewery(Dru Bru) right next door. We had the Dru Bru Wit & Kölsch. Refreshing! For food, i had the sausage(made in nearby Cle Elum) with grilled peppers & onions on a soft roll. The sausage stands out on its own but the peppers & onions were a great compliment! It was also delicious with a dip in the slightly spicy chipotle mayo. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with apple bacon jam & coleslaw. Meat was smoky & tender; jam added sweetness; coleslaw gave it a nice crunch. Both dishes came with«chips»; think large baked potato wedges. We left happy & full. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area!

Came here for a quick bite traveling to the west side. We ordered the nachos, cup of soup and kids meal. The kids meal was great. The cup of chili that said on the menu came with corn bread I guess only comes with the $ 11.00 bowl not the $ 7.00 cup! Wasn’t very nice about bringing the sliver of bread. Our nachos were anemic on ingredients other than the chips. Asked for a little more pico since there was maybe a tablespoon on the nachos and again was given the item but with a frown. We travel the pass once a month easily and don’t think ill be stopping again. Place wasn’t very busy. Workers could use a better attitude. I will say I saw the hummus plate and burger with wedges and it looked tasty.

We were hungry after hiking so maybe that helped but this place HIT the spot. Fun, easygoing atmosphere, great food. Cuban sandwich was a keeper. I will definitely be stopping here on my next drive thru on I 90 versus going to fast food in nort bend. Service was casual but great also.

Well, ski areas this side of Whistler are not known for their food and this place won’t change that. They have a Nice interior design. The«seat yourself» sign should have added«get your own menu.» Watching the waitress carrying water glasses with her palms over the tops, didn’t help the appetite. I chose the salmon chowder. Not. Someone’s cookbook recipe for lamb stew from which was removed the meat and spices & nearly all but the potatoes & corn. Then chunks of salmon were tossed in. To call this«salmon chowder» this close to Seattle should be embarrassing. Let’s see what they learn by ski season.
