Trails End is a fun and lively pub/eatery/sports bar/hangout/place. It’s very close to the start of the Centennial Trail in Snohomish, and is a great spot to drop in on after going biking or skating or whatever on the trail. I recently came here with my GF and two friends just after a long trail skate, and despite it being packed to the gills, even on the patio, we were able to get an inside table pretty quickly. It was a busy Saturday evening and some of the staff seemed a little stressed, but our server couldn’t have been nicer… she was friendly and energetic and very genuine. She kept our glasses of water and other drinks full, and changed a TV near us so that we could watch the Stanley Cup. The food is pub fare; my friends each got pizzas that they were pretty happy with. I got mac and cheese, and honestly it was some of the best mac and cheese I’ve had this side of my Mom’s house. I was seriously impressed. I would think twice before ordering a side salad again… for one thing, I had to order it three separate times before it finally arrived… for another thing, I got it with Italian dressing, which actually made me cough a couple of times – it was applied rather liberally to the salad and was quite acidic. Our super cool server comped me the salad and even gave us a free s’more brownie to share.(Although I didn’t try it on the grounds that I find marshmallows to be gross and, frankly, rather terrifying.)

Sat in front of the bar where the staff making pizza. i saw them not wearing gloves, and keep wiping their hands to their clothes. it might be hard to make a dough if you have gloves on, i understand that as long as you wash your hands frequently. but no, they didnt. they continue making pizza after wiping their hands to their dirty clothes. My husband liked the beer but that’s it. don’t eat here or else you’ll get sick.

Really great place, food and service were on fire! Page our server was awesome. My BLTA was perfectly made. The Hawaiian pizza is a must try, like a party in your mouth. We got a flight of yummy tastings and ended up with pints of ACE pineapple cider. Defiantly recommend or maybe wish I was just our little kept secret =)

Delicious brews and food! There is a nice selection of local brews and a variety of ciders that not many others places offer. Their pasta salad is fresh and pairs well with The Smoke Bomb panini. I ordered half a sandwich which I immediately regretted when I took my first bite. Their s’mores brownie was mouth-watering. However, it was best only when warm. For the future I recommend they serve it on a hot plate. Sit outside with your dog on the front patio on a sunny day. They do have patio heaters which is a plus. Parking lot is small and shared with the indoor soccer arena next door, but there’s plenty of street parking nearby. The staff are friendly and welcoming both over the phone and in person. Definitely coming back here!

Our favorite place to eat. Fun atmosphere and the food is nothing short of amazing! We go on a monthly basis. Never had any problems, it stays busy but always nice to grab a drink and wait

This needs to be a breakdown style review. Food — 4 to 5 stars. Excellent appetizers. Bacon mushrooms were a huge hit! Chips, Artichoke dip(Crab & Bacon) were also amazing. Beer/Cider — 4 to 5 stars. Great. I had a mix of the Pineapple Cider & the Bad Apple Cider, super crisp and easy to drink. I had 2 the entire party and it never made me feel heavy or dehydrated. Service — Excellent. Our server Leslie was working our party upstairs of 22, but with my nutso mom and gaggle of children running around screaming, it probably felt like 40. Her ability to serve us and take care of everything with poise and ease was highly respected. Booking the banquet room was a bit of a cluster. My brother in law worked with the catering manager and then handed payment off to me. We received a confirmation email stating we’d be choosing 3 courses and that appetizers would be selected by them the day of. Upon arriving, we were told appetizers wouldn’t be served at all. This was a surprise party, which meant we were all hanging out, drinking, until the guest of honor decided to join us. LOL… so just drinking, for an hour straight wasn’t going to go over well. Thankfully Leslie sorted it out and hooked us up with some amazing appetizers. Everyone was happy and she saved the day! The banquet room upstairs is gorgeous. It was $ 250 for us to book it(not including taxes/gratuities) for a Friday night for 3 hours for ~20 people. It had amazing chandeliers, neat windows, and really cool barn style doors(great photo op!) It got a little hot up there at times with so many people in the room, but we were able to crack the windows a bit. Anything more than 20 people and it may have been a bit uncomfortable. Dinner portions were enormous. Medium Rare steaks were over cooked, but seeing as our guest of honor was already an hour late, I wasn’t going to send it back. I was paying the lion’s share of the night, and thankfully I was pretty sober because our bill was messed up twice. Everyone had a great time. The room alone allowed the kids to literally run a muck which was well worth the stress free style environment for the parents. I would definitely come back here and give this place another shot downstairs for dinner & drinks sometime.

The food, atmosphere, and the service was great! It has a nice dark paint look. The server was very nice and checks in at the right time. I had the veggie pizza. Delicious! Had the polenta fries. Interesting and tasty. With a pinot grigio. My friends had the garlic chip made by the restaurant, margharita pizza, etc. All delicious!

This place is a true(not-so-hidden) gem! The beer selection is varied — everyone can find something, even a cider-lover like myself! And the food is outstanding. From the Parmesan artichoke dip, to the house salad, to the pork chop: it’s all delicious. Fresh, quality ingredients and perfect flavor make for dishes that’ll spark happiness and keep you sustained. I would’ve given 5 stars but have two issues: 1) they changed the chicken parm sandwich and I don’t love it anymore.(Trails End: If you’re reading this, please go back to the old chicken parm!!) 2) it’s not so hidden of a gem anymore so any time we go, even a Saturday at 6p, we end up waiting 30+ mins to be seated. Not really the fault of the restaurant, but just be prepared to wait. The good news is you can still grab a drink at the bar and sit on the patio. If you’re looking for a spot to get a delicious bite and have a cold one, don’t miss Trails End!

Time to update, after having eaten here several dozen times since the original review. Not so much of a fan anymore. The beer selection is great! Reasonably prices and a great variety but the quality of the food is mediocre to average at best. Pizza toppings are skimpy, little to no cheese or sauce. Steaks have been chewy, more like cow than Angus beef. Almost every time we need to send something back because the order is wrong. The place is usually packed with a line. It seems like people come for a couple beers and linger for hours. Tables just don’t turnover.

We had their loaded chips and spinach artichoke dip for appetizers. It was the vest artichoke dip I have tasted. I had their French dip. The garlic aioli really enhances the flavor. My wife had the garlic chicken pizza. The crust was perfect. What a beer selection. IPA, pilsners, stouts, porters, reds, ciders… draft and bottle selection are great. They have a long wine list. Try the chocolate cheese cake for dessert. Incredible service. We will be back!

Okay, this place is our neighborhood hang out. It so convenient and you always see someone you know. Fun pub like atmosphere plus you can even bring kids if you sit on the restaurant side. We are there at least once a week and patiently await the changing pizza special I think they change it twice a month for their featured specialty but always have the great standbys on the menu. Great selection on beer, ciders, and wines. Love how they have the guest vote the new drinks in for fun. All in all a great place to pop into for a quick bite or to just meet friends for a evening of fun. Job well done here!

This place ruled! I was legitimately surprised by the top quality this Snohomish based restaurant exuded. Decorations and style were amazing, the menu was stellar, and the service was one of the best in my life. We went here for a bachelor party and had about 12 – 14 people in our group. I came in thinking we’d have slow service and probably some mistaken orders. Basically, I lowered the bar so I wouldn’t be disappointed when I expected something to go wrong. I mean, come on it’s 12 – 14 people in one group, that’s a lot of work. As I walked in(two of us got there way before everyone else), I said we were part of the bachelor party reservation and they told me they don’t take reservations, but they have room. The front desk was super friendly about everything. I think the best man must’ve talked to someone else though, since he said he called ahead, but it worked out anyway. They seated us immediately and over the next 5 – 10 min, everyone showed up. As we waited, our waitress(who I think maybe was the owner?) set everything up and I was making small talk with her. She was hilarious. Quick witted, happy, and just seemed generally excited about serving our party. As everyone was showing up, she was welcoming and on point with all her duties. Cracking jokes every so often and making everyone feel really comfortable. She nailed our drink orders and our food orders with not a single mistake. Food and drinks came out quickly and she checked up on us often. I’ve never eaten somewhere where I’ve felt like the absolute top priority and she nailed that. It was awesome. Seriously, I think she was probably the best waitresses I’ve ever had in my life and to serve our group flawlessly is a feat in and of itself. She even split the checks and remembered where each one went. The food and drinks were delicious. I had a pineapple cider that was incredible. I need to find it again because that is my new favorite cider. I had a stout as well that was super potent. I ended up having to give it away because I had to drive and didn’t want to be irresponsible. The menu was long and full of all sorts of stuff, though surprisingly no burgers. In place of that, they have a full list of paninis. I actually liked that better, since so few places serve that. There were several on the list I wanted to try, but went with the french dip as that’s a favorite of mine. I asked if I could add bacon to it and she said«Oh yeah. I have a special button on the register that just adds bacon to anything.» It doesn’t sound quite as funny writing it out, but the way she said it cracked everyone up. The panini itself was super well done. Perfect bread, full of meat(and delicious bacon), and the au jus was delicious. I was so bummed that I wasn’t that hungry and didn’t get to eat it all at once. Though nobody beats my mom’s french dips(and that’s not just because they are my mom’s), this was up there with the best I’ve had in a restaurant. This place is well deserving of its 5 stars. There are a ton of other items on the menu I want to try someday and just getting that top tier level of service again is reason enough. I don’t find myself in Snohomish often, but I may create an excuse to go there just to eat here again.

This unassuming restaurant positioned at the Snohomish end of the Centennial Trail has a little something for everyone. It offers craft beers and a modern spin on pub food. Our family tried this establishment on a recent very warm summer day. The atmosphere was both physically cool and visually interesting. From its unique artwork to its green faux marble top tables and heavy industrial flair chairs it lends itself to a feel of an old-world pub meets a modern fern bar. The cost to value was moderate and the food quality was above average. Adult Review: We both ordered the Brie Burger with Poppy Seed Broccoli Cole Slaw, one of the daily specials. We fell in deep smit with the sweet salty bacon jalapeño jelly and melted gooey brie cheese combination. We both felt the beef patty was delicious and juicy as well, but that the bun was a little too firm of an option(it might have been a ciabatta) and, as a result, when we bit into it the cheese and jelly squished out all sides. However, that wasn’t a deal breaker as all the flavor was there and, after all, some of the best burgers are the messy ones. We also liked the broccoli slaw salad, but it did need a little additional salt and the poppy seed dressing was lacking a ‘poppy seed’ flavor. Our waitress was especially friendly and well-informed. She knew the answers to all of our questions and was knowledgeable about the daily specials even making sure to let us know that she(and the rest of the staff) is encouraged to taste all of the specials at the beginning of each shift. We finished off the meal with the in-house made Red, White and Blue Cheesecake and a cup of coffee. The coffee was passible as coffee goes – not the best we’ve had, but far from the worse(you’ll notice coffee mentioned in all of our reviews if we ordered some as coffee is a favorite of ours). The cheesecake however was really delicious. It was creamy and not overly sweet and the berry compote was a nice combination of sweet and tart. We liked the atmosphere and have no complaints about anything, unless it was that the place was packed and, as a result, a little loud. Kid Review: The kids ordered from the kids menu. They did make the comment that they felt the children’s menu was small and from their point of view limited. After some deliberation they decided on the Chicken Strips with in-house made Potato Chips. They both really enjoyed them. According to our waitress the chicken is hand breaded in-house with a gluten-free corn meal crust and served with homemade potato chips. The girls’ one complaint was that the ranch served with their meal(which our waitress let us know was house-made too) was lacking flavor and ‘blah’. The cheesecake was split 50⁄50 as far as them liking it. One of them felt it was«AWESOME!», but the other one took one bite and declined the rest of her dessert all together. The girls appreciated the coloring sheet provided for them and decided that the fact that they were entertained while they waited for their meal was a positive. The girls felt that the fact that there is a large bar that monopolizes the space was a negative as they ‘don’t want to see a bunch of people drinking’. The kids did feel that the place was ‘fine’ and that they would eat there again. Over all we all really liked the Trails End and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pub food meal with a modern flair. If you do try it soon, please check back here and add your thoughts to the comments section. May your family always eat well! This is the perfect pit stop while biking along the centennial trail ! Great beer selection, friendly service & the food doesn’t disappoint. I especially enjoy the rotating specials! The fact that they carry Boundary Bay scotch ale doesn’t hurt either!

I’ve been here dozens of times and it delivers a decent experience. I can’t say it’s my favorite place and that their food it excellent but it’s good, overpriced IMHO, but good. Service is always amazing and super friendly which is definitely a plus. They have a nice patio for the summer months, a bar section for 21+ and a dining room for families. My pet peeve is that you can’t get sandwiches at dinner, just at lunch, annoying. They make a good steak and cook it as asked, the pizza is ok, I like the artichoke dip. Don’t bother on the desserts, I am never impressed when we try them. As far as the beer, the tap list is large but unimpressive, I wish the beer buyer was more creative. It’s one of the better choices in Snohomish.

For most cities, this place might get 3 stars. For Snohomish, it gets 4. It’s nestled in a little bubble right by the trail, and is a very nice facility with outdoor seating and quite a bit of parking. It’s a bit of an odd spot(albeit I think most in Snohomish are) with lots of road noise, but the easy access to food and beer by the Centennial trail seems to be a hit! Pros? –Friendly service(but not fake, at all) –Knowledgeable staff –Outdoor and indoor seating, bar, restaurant –Plenty of beers on tap… and good ones at that! –My crunchy chicken salad was fresh and tasty, as well as more healthy than any I’ve ever had –The crab mac was delightfully fatty Cons? –SO noisy sitting outside –Wished their panini sandwiches were available for dinnertime too
