We’ve been making this our weekend lunch spot and why not! The food seems to always be the best, the prices the lowest and the servers the most friendly. They’ve got a great menu variety and their salsa is terrific. Plus, they give us a free desert treat.

Ate here for lunch with my husband. We were pleased with the food… everything tasted good and the service was really good too. Prices were fair and the décor in the restaurant was fun and festive. All in all, a decent place for Mexican food.

My favorite Mexican food in Snohomish. I can’t figure out why it’s not very busy though. The location is in the center of town and the staff are friendly and attentive most of the time. The food is very good with lots of choices, tons of drink options. I have not had a bad meal the 10+ times I have been here. The salsa and pico have been consistently good and the Fajitas and Chimichanga’s have always been really good.

Update: Not the best anymore, some of the waitstaff has left and the last time we ate there the food wasn’t as good as it used to be. I think we’ll stick with our local restaurant it’s better than most.

Nothing special. Actually everything was Very bland including the chorizo which was disappointing. Menu was basic, no real restaurant special.

We got food togo here once and were not very impressed. It was way too greasy… and I like grease. I came back one other time to sit outside and have a Margarita while my wife was doing something next door. I do not mind paying high prices for excellent drinks, especially margaritas, however this top shelf Margarita was mostly mixer and way over priced. Won’t be back, better options just a few blocks in either direction.

I’ve read a couple of the«not so good» reviews on this place and some people are too perplexing… First off, if you order any of the standard americana style dishes, like taco salad, you don’t know what real mexican food should be… On the other hand, most mexican joints in the states(99.9% of them) are ameican mexican food. But what makes this place special are their more authentic efforts on their menu… For example, carne asda y camarones(steak and shrimp basically)… My favorite! The best and most authenticly cooked Carne asada around! I’m from San Diego and understand real mex food… The food here is good across the board! But then again, im not sure what a taco salad is supposed to taste like so, in all fairness to that reviewer, i’ve never had one in Mexico… If they are busy, service might take a bit but if you want traditional tasting mex, it’s worth the wait… They are very friendly people too…

Good food, very polite staff who are always making sure you are well tended to. Too bad more people don’t know about this friendly little place. The staff and owners work really hard. The décor is a bit amateurish and obviously done as they can afford it but no complaints. The food is hot and fresh every time.

Looks like a chain, might actually be a chain, but doesn’t necessarily suffer from the worst qualities of such a fate. It’s a brightly lit place, with lots of fake plants and corny hand-painted ceramics everywhere. OK, that part feels pretty chain-like. The booths don’t all look like the carpenter is quite finished yet. But it’s clean and comfortable. The food is the usual modestly ambitious americanized mexican stuff. Brown rice, long-stewing refried, plenty of white and yellow cheese. Lots of peppers and white onions. But the ingredients were flavorable and seemed reasonably fresh. The house salsa was OK. No points here for anything scratch made(at all), and no points for adventurousness from the kitchen. But they give you dependable food at a reasonable value, and, given the setting, that’s a good business model. Three stars for succeeding within those parameters.

Not bad. The service is friendly and the food is just about what you’d get at any other Mexican restaurant.

I’ve eaten here once. It was early lunch, between 11a.m. and noon. The place was empty, and now I know why. The waiter acted like I was puting him out. He was snooty, and I could not figure out why. I was served a chicken taco salad featuring: lettuce, bland luke warm chicken, and cheese. I had to pour my(average at best) salsa that went with my stale chips onto the salad to give it enough taste to be edible. Of the four mexican places that I’ve sampled in Snohomish, this is by far the worst food and service that I’ve experienced. I can only count on one hand the amount of times that I have been offended enough not to leave a tip. This was one of those times. If you are in Snohomish and craving American Mexican style food and you see this place on the side of the road, keep driving. There are three better places within a mile of it.
