Amazing people inside working, very helpful. It’s a very welcoming place for just stopping in a few times from being out of town/state. However, their was this creepy security guy walking around, short, a little round, dark glasses even when he went inside the library. Remember that movie«mall cop» mentality of that guy, with a child pervert mix in him. I was sitting in my truck doing some paper work for a few hours outside before I went in, and he keep creeping all around me. Like I was doing something wrong. I wanted to call the cops, I didn’t only cause their was a younger maybe new guy with him that appeared to be normal. Fully harassing and creeping!

LOVE this library. I come all the way from Lake Stevens to use it as the LS library is pretty sad. Everyone is helpful and friendly, its clean, almost never a wait to check out your books and there are plenty of self-checkouts which I really like. I can usually find what I need. Its a pleasant place to just kick back and read.

By far one of the best libraries in Washington. It’s cozy. It’s clean. The staff is awesome. There are lots of computers(both for long use and for checking the library catalogue). It has fast and easy to access wi-fi. There are big wood tables to spread out and work. There are great rotating supplies by local artists. There is space for community information. There are great events. And the library is part of the Sno-Isle system which gives you access to way more books than the space can hold. I love it. My only complaint is that it lacks a suitable amount of outlets.

This was my neighborhood library as a kid, and it was in a different location than it is now. The old location was cool/creepy with two levels and a creaky staircase. The adult books were downstairs and the kids’ books were upstairs which meant half an hour or so of ‘free’ time without parental supervision. Several years ago, they built the new Snohomish library at its current location, and it’s quite nice. It’s all one level now, with a decent-sized parking lot(always a problem at the previous location), several self-checkout stands, and it was one of the first libraries to offer self-serve holds pick-up. The Sno-Isle catalog is not as extensive as King County, and so I haven’t used them as much since getting a new library card, but they do offer inter-library loans, so you can probably find what you are looking for. As a bonus, Sno-Isle does not charge any late/overdue fines!

I love this library. It’s clean and has plenty of staff who have GREAT advice. My son wanted a certain genre of books and the librarian spent nearly ½ hour helping us pick out an assortment of authors/books for him to try out! The building is also clean and there is plenty of parking. What puts the icing on the cake is they have free/fun classes for school-age children every week or two here this summer of 2011. My kids went to their first one, travel tile making, and loved it. We’re looking forward to attending more of those… oh, and they have a summer reading program. For every 10 books your child reads, you get a free book! We love it here and visit regularily. :)
