One of my fav stops in Snohomish WA, great beverages and food, with an amazing bar service. The people and the music/sports are always great. Also some of the best Bloody Mary’s have been served here by Shawndy and some awesome shots as well. Apparently my original review vanished so I just redid from my memory.

Checked my I’d for over 5 minutes then checked it again. Over priced drinks that taste like there is no alcohol in them at all! Service sucked didn’t even ask of I would like a drink. I had to track someone down. Awful bar. I won’t be going there again.

I’ve only come to this bar twice and both times HORRIBLE service, the bartenders are snappy and very rude. First time I ordered a mixed drink which was watered way down seemed like I was drinking juice on ice.: other time I came with three of my other girlfriends on a Friday night the bar wasn’t busy at all and my friend had to wait 10 min to get a drink while the bartender kept walking past her although she served everyone else. The second time I got ONE beer and when I tried to order a second an hour later she told me she’s not serving our party anymore. She wouldn’t explain why, just said she’s not in a very unpleasant unfriendly bitchy tone. I’m surprised that in snohomish this bar is still open for business, there so many more bars in town which will treat you with courtesy and respect. I mean understand being denied service when you are wasted and can’t walk… But when you are being refused after one beer and having to be ignored purposely it’s just ridiculous. Hopefully this place goes out of business and gets new staff and or owner to rid of the b’s who work there now.

Are you in Snohomish? Do you like being treated like garbage, or better yet, ignored? Do you long for the day when someone else would warm a frozen/pre-packaged meal for you? Are you allergic to softscrub or cleaning agents of any kind? Do you find yourself unable to drink hard spirits when they are not improved with the wonderful elixir of red bull? If you answered«yes» to three or more of these questions, my friend, you’ve discovered the place for you! Food & Drink: Let’s be straight up: Anything you find here is going to be pre-made frozen. The shepherds pie, the stew, the peas, the carrots, and the mashed potatoes. Any kind of meat on a sandwich is going to be bone dry. What to pick? The best item on here is the fish and chips, which is a British classic, so it’s nice to see that score a point or two. It’s amazing what a lot of fried oil can do in terms of taste. Indeed quite. Drinks? Forget getting a well made classic, heck, forget getting a poorly made classic. Order beer. Always. First it gives you more of the British pub feel, but more importantly you’re bound to be disappointed with anything mixed. I suppose you could also order something straight up. Ambiance & Service: Set on the main strip in Snohomish(1st Ave), it’s got a prime location. You’re a quick walk to Fred’s Rivertown Ale House or the Snohomish river. You’d be better of drinking at, or out, of either of those places. If you head up the street you’ll end up at some of the more country/biker bar areas, which at least are a bit more interesting. Surrounded in between – antiques. Lots, and lots of antiques. Inside what will you find? A British pub with a Premier League crowd and rowdy friends? Nahh, don’t be fooled by the soccer/football scarves on the wall, this place attracts more of a Jaegerbomb crowd, like a scene out of a Eugene Oregon frat rush in circa 2003. You’ll also find empty tables and chairs. Lots of them. Empty on the weekdays, and pretty light on the weekends, it’s not place to make friends and watch football as it were. Service is practically non-existent. There have been 500 word essays written on Unilocal about the hosting/busing/cooking/bartending prowess of the owner, so I’ll skip that. Suffice it to say that it takes a great deal of effort to get taken care of at the bar, and at no point will you feel welcomed or cared for. I don’t think, like many others do, that it’s a question of skill or ability. It just seems like customers aren’t valued and are more of a nuisance than anything. Insider Tip: Don’t go. Final Thoughts: Given my experiences, the reviews on Unilocal, and how empty this place is even on weekends, I don’t know how it stays in the business. Perhaps it doubles as a tax write-off, I don’t know. What I do know is this place is consistent: «Come to Piccadilly Circus, where every night is an off night.» –AC

Girlfriend and I stopped for a Sunday lunch. I had the beef and mushroom pie. The pie was obviously pre-made frozen, instant mashed potatoes and frozen peas & carrots that weren’t done.

Horrible idea to come here but Fred’s was packed and it was close. There’s a reason it was empty. The bartender was okay, didn’t make drinks very well but nice enough. Very very uninterested in actually being a bartender though. They were putting together stools while we were there and the smoking literally outside the door was awful. It was more of a disgusting friends house than a bar you’d want to have a drink at. Definitely don’t waste your money or time. Go somewhere else for sure.

There is trivia here at 7:30 on Tuesday nights even though the website said 7. They do trivia with paper and pen and the questions involved movies and politics mostly. The winner gets a $ 25 gift certificate for the place which can be used that night.

Friends and I decided to head over to first street for St. Patrick’s day and stopped in to this joint. It was a pub so hey perfect! First problem was that the bouncer had an issue with my friends ID. It wasn’t turned vertical yet and he had to ask one of the bar tenders if they were still taking ID’s like that. No worries there, we totally understood. The problem was he decided at the same time he was going to have a gossip session with the bar tender to. We waited outside for awhile(it was freezing by the way) and when he finally finished his conversation he came back out to tell us it was ok. So nothing major but still it was rude to make us wait. Second issue was that they had a STRICT $ 10 charge on cards. Again that’s not a big deal but it would have been nice to know this before I started my tab. The real problem was when I went to cash out and the bar tender refused to give me my card back. I had only bought one beer(that somehow came out to $ 6 before tax! WTF?) so since my tab was only $ 6 she wouldn’t give me my card back. I asked if I could maybe pay for my friends beers and nope she couldn’t do that. She said I had to buy another drink or go get cash. I told her I couldn’t get cash because she had my card. I was told«I’m sorry, that sucks» and she walked away to serve other customers. Luckily for me my friends had extra cash so I paid for my overly priced green beer(That was suppose to be on special but was still $ 6?) and we left. Bartenders had very crappy attitudes that night and granted they’ve most likely had a long day with drunk people but still not an excuse to be rude or snippy. The bar itself was really cool! They had a ton of soccer scarves from all over the world on the walls and the liquor display behind the bar was cool. They had a lot of beers on tap so there is a large variety. There’s a back room with a few pool tables that seemed to constantly be in use. An there’s room for all of your stuff for when you’re playing. I HATE when bars don’t have room for you to sit all of your stuff down when you play. Then you have to constantly keep an eye out for it and hold it. Overall, the bar itself is great. The atmosphere is inviting to. The music was great, it is a variety of current music and Irish music. The bartenders need to perk up. Unless you’re a regular they don’t treat you like you’re welcome. They have a bad attitude and that sucks because I really wanted to like this bar. Oh well

What’s grosser than gross? Piccadilly. The owner sometimes tries to be a bartender and it’s a joke. He can’t make a good drink, he is curt while taking your food order and gives terrible service. Food isn’t anything worth trying. Place feels dirty. Just look at the windows! Bartenders tend to be rude and high and mighty. A younger Jagerbomb crowd loves it here on weekends for karaōke. It’s one of the rowdier places on the weekends. Lots of smokers outside, and fights. Do yourself a favor and pass it by. There are MUCH better choices in town. Just ask the locals.

We have only been here once and haven’t gone back. Customer service is terrible, as you have heard in the other reviews. The place was dead, us and one other group playing pool, nobody sitting out front in the bar area, and still had to wait for our drinks while the two people working behind the bar finished their conversation. The two pool tables are cramped together, limited food that looked way over priced, and did I mention the slow service? Haven’t been and won’t be back… way to many other options downtown Snohomish.

No love. Stood at the bar for 10 minutes and didn’t get one look from the bartenders. They weren’t busy at all. Never going back. Couldn’t even spend money at this place. Forget it.

It was a fun place to stop in for a pint, but I don’t know if I’d go back. The bartender was a very nice lady though. The walls are covered with soccer swag which was okay, and the back room with the pool tables is decorated a very cool way. The cherries are horrid though. Stay away from those.

Update: I was out in downtown Snohomish with a group of friends last weekend, we had many drinks and decided it was Karaōke or bust. Picadilly is the only place I knew for sure had Karaōke, so we headed in. BIG crowd, nice sounding Karaōke system, overpriced drinks, and bartenders with ginormous ATTITUDES. The ex-con guy with prison tats is especially toxic. He managed to offend each of us in his own special way, and we are about the easiest crew in the world to deal with. Another neat trick they use here is to take your $ 5 bill for a $ 4 beer, and just«assume» that the change is their tip. Yeah, I’ll normally tip a buck for a pint, even if I do most of the work by ordering at the bar… but that’s my decision, not the bartenders. One of my friends ended up referring to this guy as a «F*ucking A*shole !», for reasons which, although unclear, aren’t really in question. Add to it the fact that he kept sneaking out side to toke up every 10 minutes, and coming back in reeking of cannabis, to the mix… I’m herb-friendly, but dude, you are at WORK and stuff… and shouldn’t being completely BAKED on the job make you FRIENDLY, instead of douchey? Guess not. Bottomline: This place sucks. Go somewhere else.

The place was not busy but the lady working there was friendly and chatty. She recommended the rosemary lentil soup. I got that with a pork dumpling. It was really good! The soup was very savory. Had the Bangers and Mash. The sausage was fine and the mash potatoes did not taste instant. However, I don’t like carrots with my bangers and mash. It should just be peas…

this place is seriously not that bad, yes sometimes the owner old man will be the only one working but give him a break, times are tough and he’s trying to save money, stop being a cry baby. His alcohol selection the nice, I enjoyed the food, i had a pastie, never had one before but I liked it. There was a younger female bartender there the second time I went that knew how to make the drinks I instructed her to. The soccer theme is a selling point for me as well. note: i really dont think this place is a five star joint, maybe a four but mostly a three, i’m giving a five to hopefully get it’s rating up since so many cry babies have given it a bad review oh and about the dog, she’s cute and friendly, stop being a snob

Nice place for a cold beer. The English Pub theme adds a bit of character to the establishment. I suppose it’s a nice way to distinguish this place from the other pubs in town. Service was OK but the food disappointing. On a hot summer day I didn’t feel up to trying the trad. Brit. pub grub so I ordered a Prime Rib dip. I was served a little 5″ French roll with a few slices of dried out roast beef and a piece of Cheddar cheese. The burger we ordered was passable but hardly exceptional. The food in England has really improved in the last 10 years, in keeping with authenticity to the theme, Piccadilly Circus needs to step up the food quality.

Let’s try this again. My last review of this dump got pulled from Unilocal.I wonder who I embarrassed with my honest review? *rolls eye* Only one person comes to mind that would have anything to gain from it. It’s not like my single one star rating is having any affect on the overall rating of this place. Many others think it really sucks as well. I can only recommend the beer… that’s it. DONOTORDERANYFOOD… PERIOD! The«Pub Food» is more than likely frozen snacks from Costco and is overpriced not to mention overcooked. The entrees are not edible! I’ve ordered the halibut fish & chips(only 2 pieces) which were tiny, burnt and over-battered. The NY steak was very expensive and a paper thin cut of meat which was also overcooked. My girlfriend ordered a soupy meat pie that she nor I could stomach. She has also tried to eat some sort of french dip concoction that consists of old, dry, cold meat between two pieces of stale bread. The au jus was greasy, salty and cold. I love dogs but not in kitchen’s of restaurants. There is a dog that has free roam of the place and I’ve seen others allowed to bring their dogs in too. This little dog follows the owner everywhere and when it’s not, it sits under your table hoping that something is dropped. I like the dog friendly attitude but it’s also a double edged sword when it comes to health standards and cleanliness. On weekends, they have karaōke where the fresh out of high school Snohomish crowd like to pretend they are country singers. Some have great voices but this isn’t what I’m looking for in a British pub. Back in Vegas there is a proper British pub, Crown & Anchor. They would probably fly a group of soccer hooligans up to turn this place inside out if word ever got out that there is country music in a «British Pub.» Shame on you Piccadilly Circus! I’m expecting to see an episode of Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey filmed here very soon! Cheers!

Dive pub, bartender is a character, but for he unprepared he can comeoff as rude. The mustaches in the bathrooms are hilarious, but not really worth the trip.
