Janvier Skincare

Not sure how I have not left a review because when an establishment or a person provide exceptional service, they deserve recognition. I’ve been coming her since June, 2013. And she’s worked on high my young-​adult daughters who are pleased with Janvier Skincare as well.
Jamie, is a professional. I suppose you could come to her for a relaxing facial spa, but I’d say her approach is far more skin-​corrective, which meets my needs. However, this is by no means to say facials are painful and not enjoyable. I just need, and am willing to tolerate extractions. If you have any skin concerns, she is beyond knowledgeable and will work with you to get your skin looking its best.
I have also seen Jamie for eyelashes; you can’t beat her pricing! She is attentive and works with your lashes; applying the correct type of lash for your lash load, so when your lashes come off should you choose to discontinue, you will still have luscious-​full lashes. Unfortunately for me, seasonal allergies have gotten the best of me since moving back to Seattle, so no more extensions for me
She also does a fine job with waxing. My 20-​year-​old won’t see anyone else! She’s very picky and has one too many botched jobs. She goes to WSU so it’s tough for her to maintain them on her own in-​between services, but it’s the price she’s willing to pay for perfect brows.
I haven’t tried their new service, sugaring, but I hope to do so soon.
A couple last tips:
1) Make your appointments in advance. She’s in high demand. However, she does do her best to work with your busy life.
2) Don’t worry about being manipulated or guilted into buying a bunch of overpriced products. She will give you suggestions if you ask but she is a service provided and not a sales person. Isn’t that refreshing!

Bev is fantastic. Her sugaring skills are like no other. I’ve been sugared many a time, and I’m not kidding when I say that Bev is one of the best. For real. Not only does she have a charming personality that keeps you distracted from the pain of getting hair removed, but she is also very knowledgeable and informative about skin and aftercare instructions. I would recommend going to see Bev at Janvier a million times over. Go there, you won’t be disappointed.

I came to see Jamie because I needed to get my eyelash extensions removed. A friend of mine had done them for me and really messed me up. Jamie was very kind and understanding of the situation. She showed me a product that would help regrow and repair my lashes. I’m very grateful that there are people like Jamie in this industry. I would recommend Janvier to everyone :)

Wowza. I just had a facial here and it was fantastic!
Jamie is a great esthetician (yes, I had to Google it to make sure I spelled that right) and a great conversationalist, which I think is important when you’re spending an hour with someone. She’s very nice and patient with any questions you may have. I also appreciate that she wasn’t a pushy salesperson and didn’t make you feel horrible about your skin to get you to buy product. In fact, the one product she recommended she was able to give me a sample of to see if I like it at home before buying!
The facial itself was divine. I don’t think I can remember all that was involved but I remember a cleanse, steam, enzyme treatment, extractions, masque (some sort that was to help with my rosacea), and a final masque that set to a weird, rubbery texture. I really enjoyed it.
Lastly, let’s chat about the prices. She bills them as «reasonable». Ummm, have you been to a facial place lately? Jamie is a ridiculous bargain! For the price of her facial I wouldn’t expect much, but she proved that you can’t judge a book by its… price.
