Service was really fast even though it was busy, huge portions, good food. I ordered the egg salad and it was fresh, homemade, and very tasty. The fries aren’t my favorite. I like crispy fries, but these guys were slow cooked?(Kinda flimsy and soggy). Next time i’ll order the omelette. Go in for brunch, leave with dinner to go. So much food!

So kind of a funky deal. Found this place on Google and decided to meet a friend I haven’t seen in forever for breakfast… because we had to go early. This is the funky deal part. …I’m not a big breakfast fan. I do like Swedish pancakes, or crepes, or Belgian waffles. Other than that is pretty rare for me to order pancakes unless they are a specialty flavor. Side breakfast dishes I’ll take potatoes any was you slice dice or hash then. Anyway. …creativity wise. …I’d give it close to 3 stars for variety breakfast. That being said. …if you LOVE breakfast. …this place is 5 star. My friend ordered pancakes with sausage and an egg. … those things were the size of a medium pizza! I witnessed crazy huge omelettes coming out.. And people inside were genuinely pleased with their meals. Service was fast(A Friday morning and it was at least half full in there). The servers were fantastic. …smiling away, seem to have regulars they know, etc. I ended up ordering a Belgian waffle… no strawberries and whipping cream. And it was good. The décor is Betty Boop kind of hop stop. They had a bowel of fresh baked cookies out for people when they paid up at the register, a little tasty of candy for kids. They have a bar counter to sit at if you prefer over booths or tables. Great little place. I’d like to go back and try them for lunch.

Great restaurant for breakfast. When I went in there were maybe half a dozen people in there. That number had tripled by the time I ordered. With only one server(Vickie) I figured I’d be there a while. But she handled the rush like a pro. My food arrived quick, hot & delicious. I had the ham and eggs. Menu should read ham steak and eggs. Very generous portions.

Loved their omelettes and hash browns. My favorite breakfast spot up north. Just be willing to wait cause it’s busy all the time. But they are the best!

We’ve been hearing good things about this place so we decided to give it a try, and we are so glad we did. The service was good. The atmosphere is a 50’s diner which we also enjoy. The food is amazing! Keep in mind when ordering that the portions are huge. My wife and I could’ve easily split a plate and we will probably do that next time.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Snohomish. The staff is always friendly. The portions are huge and the food is good. It’s a small café that is always full of people. It is not abnormal to have to wait for a table but it’s worth it. The prices are reasonable. I go with my family on a fairly regular basis.

This review is a long time coming. I’ve lived in snohomish for almost 20 years and have treated my family and out of town guests here because I love the food and I LOVE the look on my guests face when they get their order and after they eat! The place is friendly, warm and the décor is done up in retro memorabilia, great for all ages. The staff is so accommodating always cheerful. The food is always really good, best café style you can get! So if your new in town or your looking for a great family experience, this place is a must! As they say«If you go away hungry, it’s your fault!»

We drove by Jake’s several times and decided to stop in to eat breakfast one morning. The servings are large and the food is delicious & fairly priced. We’ve even taken friends & family there with us. It’s sorta like a «Happy Days» style diner and even has a statue of The Blues Brothers in the restaurant. A great atmosphere & worth the wait. It’s one of our favorite places to eat breakfast in Snohomish!

Giving 5 stars! Well deserved. Our waitress Lindsay was the best! Gave us great pointers, didn’t forget us and treated all 6 of us well. 3 adults, 3 kids. Before we came I checked out the reviews. Mainly the reason we came. Our portions were huge! The food was yummy and hot. There was so much everyone shared everything. I wish we lived near this place, I would highly recommend it!!! Free cookies and candy at the counter. The place was clean, cute and cozy. Lindsay gave us cups of our soda to go. Husband says service by Lindsay was some of the best we’ve had in years! So thanks girl!!!

Solid diner food. The corned beef and hash hit the spot and reminded me of a home cooked meal from my childhood. The waitress was attentive, but left enough space for uninterrupted conversation with my breakfast-mate. Always kept the coffee mug filled and didn’t try to rush us out the door to open up tablespace. Like previous reviewer Isaac noticed, none of the staff wear any hazmat suits, so you may want to avoid this place if you are used to living in a bubble ;)

Big portions. If you’re into diabetes, hometown diner carelessness and food-borne illness, this is the place to eat. We came for their biscuits and gravy, which we saw was a popular choice among the patrons already seated, but when we asked to substitute a biscuit and gravy for toast, our waitress Judy – who bears a terrifying similarity to Isma from The Emperor’s New Groove, plus spray-on tan and a motorcycle – said«No.» Not, «There will be an extra charge for the gravy,» or «Sorry, we don’t allow substitutions,» just an immovable, obtuse«No.» Another waitress hollered at her, «Biscuits? We’re out of biscuits.» Judy seemed surprised. «Oh? Well, I guess we’re out. What else would you like?» Decided not to partake in the communal baked goods bowl, which customers and passers-by frequently dipped their fingers in to fetch morsels and leave evidence. We ordered corned beef hash and eggs with hash browns and English muffins. Standard diner fare, guilty pleasures. My wife ordered a root beer which tasted suspiciously like Coke; after Judy wandered by again we caught her attention and she replaced it, mumbling something as she meandered off. She appeared completely enamored of the people behind us, catching up about their trip to Mexico. She brought us our food quickly but that was pretty much the last attention we received from her; we learned a lot about Mexico from the dominating volume of her conversation with our neighbors. A few minutes later the kitchen yelled, «Biscuits are hot!» and the news passed around the waitstaff, «We have biscuits again.» Guess we ordered during the wrong ten-minute window. Over the course of our meal, I observed the woman at the counter affectionately called«The Butter Lady» by a customer, possibly because she was gradually filling tiny plastic cups with butter, wearing latex safety gloves. She scooped butter into the cups, pawed her drink, adjusted her clothing, reached up on the shelves to snag some dusty items, wiped her chair’s vinyl seat, and brushed the hair from her face all without changing her gloves once. Having already finished my meal, I felt the onset of something like nausea at the revelation of what had probably made its way into my digestion. After one of the kitchen team cleared our long-empty plates, we sat in noisy non-conversation waiting for our check. We flagged down Judy and she printed it for us, then left our credit card sitting neglected on our table until another waitress showed us pity and ran it. We left a tip – a small one – and a brief written explanation of why we didn’t plan to return on the back of the receipt. Big portions, though. And great people-watching, if you’re curious how much hairspray residue small-town America has acquired over the past several decades.
