Haven’t been to a Sally’s in years!!! The original True beauty supply store before the market was cornered. They are a little bit more pricier than other supply stores but some items can only be purchased at Sally’s. The store smelled like a beauty salon, it was neat and everything was stocked, they were having an awesome sale on a flat iron set that I wanted, but have to many of already, the sale will not end until the end of this month so we will see what happens. Lol. I called ahead of time in search of Wild Growth Hair Oil and Sally’s had it $ 7.49 for a 4 oz bottle. I have heard great things about this oil, we will see how it works. The cashier was very nice and helpful. Like I said before, the items are a bit more pricier than your average supply store but the service was great.

I visited this store one morning before going to work(which happens to be a salon that I own). I usually order my esthetic supplies online or go to professional stores but I’ve always relied on Sally’s for last minute items that I need. It just so happened that I had to provide a waxing service for a new client at 10:00 am. Given that Sally’s store hours during the week have them opening at 9:00 am I thought I would have plenty of time to run in and out within five minutes. I arrived at the store early so that I could be there as the doors opened. There were two other ladies who arrived together so all three of us were waiting. At 9:00 no one was opening the door. We knocked on the door and there was no response. I peaked through the window and though the lights were on it appeared that they were nowhere near ready for business — the register drawer was open, their were report printouts down to the floor, and after we decided to call there was no answer on the phone. At 9:15 I decided to leave to go to another Sally’s a little further away on S. Cobb(which is ALWAYS a good store to me — the staff is incredible, the store is clean, and they have a good selection). They offered to call the district manager to see what happened and I called their corporate headquarters to report my dissatisfaction and the bind it put me in. I understand that things happen or come up… perhaps the opening staff member was sick. But surely there is more than one person with a set of keys and someone else should have been called in before opening time.

I usually have a better experience at this location when it comes to products being in stock. If I know what I’m looking for and have no questions about how to use the product then I’ll come here. I’ve never had anyone to offer up any product knowledge at this location which is why they get 3 stars. It seems as if the people that work here are just cashiers. I’ve never witnessed any cosmetology advice being offered. If I know I’m going to have«how to» questions then I’ll visit the other location 2 miles down the street.
