We had fish and chips and turkey club and both were delicious. Service was good. The booth seating is awkward bc you have to step up into it and slide around but bc the food and atmosphere were great we would eat there again. It wasn’t too busy at 8:00 on Friday night, we received our food quickly.

Wish I could put ten stars. Came here tonight for a simple date night. Our waiter was so polite. After we ordered outer drinks, we even caught him waiting for them at the bar. It was a slow night so he could have been doing anything else like texting or doing his side work. Anyways, when the drinks came out, mine was a little bit smaller pour than it usually comes(I admit I come here all the time, even two days ago… and bought the same drink haha). So I tried it, and it tasted like juice, not an alcoholic beverage. I am never one to make a big deal at a restaurant. But I told the waiter what happened and he immediately took it away, informed the manager, then the manager came and made me a new drink. I again caught him waiting by the bar for my drink. When he brought my new drink out, it was perfect and he accompanied it with a nice big shot. This is why I am always going to come back here.

0 stars for service, rate food a 4. If you’re not a regular, don’t come here. Not welcoming at all. The wait staff is fine but the bartenders are horrible. Very inattentive and have attitudes when you place an order. God forbid they do their jobs or there’s hell to pay. I especially don’t recommend this establishment if you’re a person of color. You will basically be forgotten at the bar. ***UPDATE**** the manager is super sweet! Only because of her will I give this place another chance! Give her a raise!

We came here the day after St. Patty’s Day, which I would not recommend because we wanted to sit out doors and all their tables were still put away from their big event the night before. However, our waitress was kind enough to help bring out a table and chairs out for us so we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day. Awesomeness!!! We wanted a light lunch/snack and some drinks to enjoy our afternoon. We ordered the Portobello Fries which were very good! You have to love mushrooms to enjoy this dish. The mushrooms were cut in wedges and lightly battered and fried and served with a delicious horseradish cream sauce. Yummy! Next I ordered the Mussels and they were sautéed in a creamy white wine garlic sauce. They were amazing!!! I would surely order the Mussels again! Our waitress was attentive to us and kept checking back on us to see how we are doing. Thank you for a great service!(Sorta wish I remembered her name so she can get recognized for a job well done).

Great atmosphere! AH-mazing food! This is our second time here and we love it. There are probably 6 – 8 things on the menu that I want to try, which is unusual for me. Mimosas are great! They also have a peach mimosa that a certain bar tender makes! Phenomenal! Ask for Angel – best waitress in the place!!!

Came in to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Daphne met us at the door and took care of us the whole evening, when no server came to take our order. In spite of the crowd, she was still amazing!

What a great night! Keegan’s was extremely busy and yet all the staff was friendly, prompt and attentive. The food was great as were the drinks. The GM was just a doll and made us feel very welcome.

Tried to talk to the GM tonight about an issue but she was too busy flirting with a guest to take care of the issue. I won’t go back.

Dropped in awhile ago for a soccer game. Wine pours were generous and tavern chips were good. Nothing special but still plan to go back eventually

NEVERAGAIN… We tried Keegan for the 1st and last time last night. It was not a very good experience. First off the place stunk of fish, like the fry oil hadn’t been changed. Even places noted for selling fish never smelled like this. Our waiter was not well informed on what beers were on tap etc. Most restaurants that serve beer have a beer list. The beer I ordered was $ 8 for a dinky glass. Had I known it was that price I would not have ordered it. The food was okay but it was nothing to write home about. I have had better Shepard Pie elsewhere. As for the service it stunk, whenever we needed our waiter he was nowhere in sight. When we ask him if we could have our checks that took at least twenty minutes and about the same to pick up the checks for payment.

Service was great, food was not. I live close by and after seeing the good reviews I was very excited to try it. I ordered the shepherds pie thinking at an Irish pub, it would be amazing. Unfortunately, it was actually really bad. It was completely dried out with no flavor. Very disappointing and a waste of money. I tried going back yesterday thinking maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I tried the spinach dip. What I got was some barely melted cheese, few pieces of spinach, and an entire artichoke. It was so gross. I tried to tell the server but I don’t think she really understood. I was starving so I just ordered the pot roast. It wasn’t bad but clearly the gravy came out of a pack and was microwaved. Everything tasted like it was just stuck in the microwave. Total disappointment and waste of $ 30.

Great food, friendly staff, and excellent management. I moved into the area around 6 months ago, so I come here frequently on nights when I don’t want to cook. I’ve never left disappointed. Word of advice, always try the special.

I have never been there but I have had other dealings with Keegan. Some of the nicest people and if they are half as good as they are«on the court» as they are off, I would visit everyday. Good people. I can’t wait until my next visit to the area to stop in and thank Daphne personally!

Had a really good meal at Keegan’s last night. Not too busy on a Wednesday evening. Even though it’s a pub, I had no problem taking my daughter in for dinner around 630. I was pleasantly surprised at the food. We had an order of lemon pepper wings and they were really good. Not too big, but juicy and just the right amount of spice. I ordered the fish special which was salmon. I ordered it grilled and it was done perfectly and well seasoned. It was also a nice portion. I had it with spinach and macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese was just okay. It needed salt and pepper, but once I added that I was good to go. Wednesdays is half priced wine, so basically I’ll be there most Wednesdays from now on! Service was great. Prices were great.

Fun bar to catch a game at. Never had a bad thing to eat and the KK bread pudding is amazing and perfect for fall. The rest of their food is Good as well but huge portions and not for anyone dieting. Moscow Mules and Irish coffees are made to perfection and their wine pours generous. Live music in the weekends. Perfect neighborhood bar in an area that could use more. Make sure to ask for Joe at the bar, he’ll take care of ya!

I collect Irish Pubs in the sense that I know all of those in Atlanta, even the ones that are something of a day trip to visit. This used to be Blackstone’s, a place we would visit often. The remodel was clean and neat and provides a good pub atmosphere. The beer selection is great. The kitchen does an above average job of preparing the fare, which is traditional Irish with American fare. That means you can get a great Bangers and Mash or a Cheeseburger. My family likes to visit here and because of that and my personal satisfaction, I highly recommend that you visit too. Best, Dave

I really enjoyed this place and have been back on numerous occasions since coming back with a friend. It’s a great place for a happy hour with good food and decent selection of beer like the Kentucky Bourbon Ale — on tap! If you’re not into beer you’ll enjoy a nice assortment of cocktails. If you are a dog lover, which I am, they allow them on the patio and will even bring out a water bowl. I thought it was a nice touch. The interior is nice and appealing unlike some of the other bars the area that haven’t worn well. Our service has always been pretty consistent but during the late afternoons service seems to be slow. Overall, they are pretty attentive and a cheerful bunch. They are also very knowledge and give solid suggestions. The food is always better than I expected. Despite being scotching hot, the Shepherd’s pie was pretty damn good. I nice golden crust accompanied by flavorful meat was a nice complement to my Guinness. The burgers are pretty tasty as well, with a rich beef flavor on a nicely tasty buns accompanied by non-greasy golden fries. Perfect to chase with an cold IPA. If you are looking for a more upscale option with a menu that won’t leave you saying«MEH,» that Keegan’s is a solid option.

This used to be Blackstone’s and I was hoping they would do more to the interior, but really the interior is almost identical. I think they brightened it up a little bit, though. The main reason to come here is for happy hour or to sit at the bar. I’m not sure the food would really be a draw. I have eaten here a few times and the food was ok, but definitely didn’t wow me. Expect your usual bar fare. The fish and chips were pretty tasty. The bar area here is nice and so far the bartenders have always been great. The only downside would be the parking. Blackstones used to have valet, which made it easy, but Keegan’s does not. And the surrounding businesses have put up signs prohibiting parking for Keegan’s customers. It has now happened twice already that I ended up going somewhere else, because after circling the parking lot 3 times, there were just no spots available without risking having your car towed. I hope they can come to an agreement with the neighboring businesses to remedy that.

We love Irish pubs. I ordered the meatloaf and my better half ordered. the Bookmaker. Both delish. Tell them if you are a first time visitor and you will get the bleu cheese chips appetizer for free! Also recommend the Lo Country Iced Tea. Beware the parking lot czar in the lot across the way, despite no businesses being open except for yoga place.

Decided to check this spot out with some friends. Quick service… however it was not that crowded at all. My friend and I split the double cheeseburger… pretty good and the onion rings were too. I like the patio they have as well… our server Rebecca was very knowledgeable about the menu options. I can definitely see us returning soon.
