Kaba Hair Braiding

Don’t waist your time here. Went to have my edges touched up and by this being my first time ever having braids or any other foreign hair in my head period, well lets just say that I was on edge.
First off, the place needs a good cleaning and the way in which they handle the hair is just not up to my standards.
I should have gone back to Express Braids which was where I was referred to for my initial braids but because of the reviews for this location I decided to try it out.
On top of that… it was a very painful process versus my initial full braid session at Express Braids where I had no problems at all and didnt have to sit there and hold my hair so that the young lady didnt pull my hair out and I am not a sensitive person when it comes to my head. I am however very particular and this place just did not cut it.
When and if I decide to ever do braids again, I will return to Express Braids in Austell or have a private session done in my home.

This place is the worst! I made an appointment several days in advance only to arrive the day of and have to wait for someone to become available… I should have known when they didn’t even ask for my name when I made the appt. They kept talking about me in the native language while I waited but all I could make out was «micros» (the type of braids I requested).
Someone finally arrives about 20 mins later who tries to convince me to get the style done with a differnt type of hair becuase «it was better and everyone gets that kind». I was firm in that I didnt want that kind of hair so she then has to confess that they did not have the type of hair available. I explained that I made an appt and was detailed in the specifics of the hairstyle I wanted and it should have been available. She proceeds to tell me that I can go to the store and buy what I wanted. I asked what the difference in the price would be and she said NOTHING! What??? Needless to say they talked about me some more while I packed my things and left.
Their poor customer service and lack of professionalism are ridiculous… don’t even consider this place!

VERY PLEASED!!! The women worked fast and diligently to complete their consumers hair. salon proves the hair or you can bring your own ($ 10 cheaper) if you do… first time I have gotten my hair braided & it didn’t hurt. I visited the shop in July & it is Sept my braids still intact… I definitely will return this coming Oct!!!

We’ve gotten my daughter’s cornrows done here a couple times and they are really nice & patient with my tender-​headed child, and the braids come out great and last a long time. Took about 2 hrs when her hair was not straightened first, took 1.5 hrs when I loosened the curls first/​partially straightened.
You always have to wait, even if you have an appt, so that’s why them gave it only 4 stars. But I’ll continue going back.

The best!!! I had micro braids done in 3hrs. Two ladies braided my hair from beginning to end. The staff is very nice. The parking is plentiful. I am very happy with the outcome. I will definitely return.
