Good for a quick cheap breakfast but not all that. We got omelets and pancakes with sausage. Nice outdoor seating area. Will come back to try the sandwiches — hoping they are better.

I ordered the French toast which is made with challah, a side of bacon and sausage, and an apple juice. Ten bucks and change. The atmosphere is inviting and clean. The bacon is cooked extremely well nice and crunchy and of good quality but it’s lukewarm at best. The French toast has a nice texture but could use more sugar and less cinnamon, again Luke warm. The sausage patty warm hot and delicious. They gave a complimentary little cup of fresh fruit which was a nice touch.

We went here for breakfast and the food was fabulous. The employees were equally as fabulous. The 3 cheese omelette was great as was the pancakes & French toast. The potatoes were good but the bacon was salty. The coffee came out of a machine and it was okay and scalding hot. It was too hot to drink so we grabbed some ice. The salt-pepper mixture was delicious and this coming from someone who doesn’t use salt.

Fast and courteous service. Plus there is a covered patio. The Western Omelette and fries are filling per my husband. I enjoyed my Smoked Salmon Omelette with sauteed onions and tomatoes was tasty… the breakfast potatoes seasoned with their special powder called Jack’s were cooked just right. This New York Deli is budget friendly even with two fountain drinks then a homemade blondy brownie & crumb cake for dessert we did not go over $ 21.00.

Being a New Yorker I wanted to try this deli, so I stopped by today for breakfast. Since a bacon egg and cheese is basically a religion in NY, that’s what I had. The menu says it comes on a Kaiser roll, but that’s not a true Kaiser roll. A true Kaiser roll has a hard outside with poppy seeds on it. They also use a white American cheese, which to me was odd. The sandwich wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t a true NY Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I don’t think the NY Kaiser rolls are availabile down here. The deli its self is clean and the staff seem friendly. I’d go back to try their pancakes or French toast.

Oh I loved the options of sandwiches. Too bad that my wife was on a vegan diet that week and couldn’t have meat, but our sandwiches were awesome… well as much as a vegetarian sandwich can be ;) She had Jenny’s choice and I had the matts shrimp connection. I’d recommend adding the spice mix on the table. I think there are only happy memories of this place. Fast service, neat, tidy and tasty. Will visit again when we both can chew on some meat!

Located up the street from my friend’s home is this little neighborhood gem. We stopped in for a late lunch which proved to be scrumptious. On arrival it was empty with the exception of an elderly gentleman having soup. The fact that they weren’t booming with business was good for me because I was nearly«starving like Marvin». We were so hungry, we decided to dine in. The instructions for dining in are as follows: 1. Look over menu while sitting or standing at the counter. 2. Return to counter if you were seated in order to place order or simply order if you were at the counter. 3. Have a seat and wait for your food. Here’s a tip, order the shrimp sandwich, named Matt’s Shrimp Concoction.

Shrimp Concoction was on point, I got it without the slaw. It taste like a cheese steak filled with shrimp. Excellent flavors, nice size shrimp. The wife got the smoked turkey, it was excellent as well and she enjoyed her side of pasta salad. I opted for fries and that dust they have turns the fries into crack when their freshly cooked.

Loved the outside seating… Not in a very noisy area of the town, so it was comfortable. A typical lunch Deli with quite a few health and vegetarian options. Tried the shrimp sub and the spinach mushroom vege sub… Delicious! The combination of sauces was different in both and very well balanced. The shrimp was perfectly grilled and not chewy. The mushroom was spongy and the spinach was nicely sautéed. Served with pickled cucumber and a side dish. We chose the coleslaw… turned out to be slightly too sweet. There was mashed potatoes and a pasta salad as well. The table is more laid with different v interesting sauces. It was fun trying them out to find the perfect combination… Be careful before your fist bite… The sauce rush in the sub mixes at once and tends to grace much more than just ur plates! Enjoyable:) A must try for a light lunch.

I come here all of the time and it is consistently a good experience. The food is wonderful, the staff is very friendly and it’s always great service. My favorites are the Turkey Rueben and potato salad. It’s located off of Atlanta road just South of 285, it’s pretty easy to get to and easy parking. There are booths and tables inside with a covered patio outside with tables. Definitely a must if you’re in the area!

I’m a fan!!! My friend and I decided to finally check this place out. We had no clue we would get so much food for $ 20(cheap date –lol). I ended up ordering the Breakfast platter which came with 2 eggs(anyway you want them), your choice of bacon or sausage, and a choice between a bagel or toast, of course I chose the bacon and the bagel. Included also is a basket of breakfast potatoes(which came in a nice size basket — enough for 2). My food was really good, the eggs were seasoned well, different, but well. I couldn’t finish my breakfast, I ended up taking the potatoes with me to stick in the oven later. The service was great, the cashier was nice and allowed us to go over the menu without being pressured. The food came out fairly quick and we were check on twice by staff even though we dined in the outdoor patio area. The restaurant and the patio area was very clean and neatly organized. Friendly service, great food and they service breakfast all day long. I will have to bring my son back on the weekend to try a breakfast sandwich. FYI: The restaurant sits back off the road, so you may have to make an effort to located it… if not you just may pass it by. Also, you may want to be careful pulling out of the lot, and turning on Atlanta Rd, its hard to see around the curb and car will be coming fast.

I Love the Sandwiches here — especially the yummy Turkey Rachel. This is my go to place for a quick lunch or breakfast sandwich. The hand cut fries are great and they sell slices of coffee cake near the register that are delicious. Update 7÷3÷2015 — Stopped by today and got the Chicken Cheese Steak($ 8.49). It was just Ok. There was not much cheese on it, the chicken was on the dry side and it came on a flavorless XL hot dog bun. — I love Jack’s sandwiches(and will continue to come here often) but for Cheesesteaks, I think I’ll stick to Roy’s.

Got the portabello mushroom sandwich. It was very plump and succulent. In fact, the sandwich was so juicy that it made the bread soggy(I eat slowly). The restaurant did not skimp on the mozzarella and it tasted very fresh to me. I love potatoes but I wasn’t impressed by the fries. Overall, this place wasn’t memorable. Service was nice and friendly though. Parking can be a challenge in the small parking lot.

I attended the UYE for Jacks, had a nice time with everyone(but do not recall everyones name?.. Praveen and Kwame come to mind quickly) I gave 5 stars because everything looked amazing for a deli, freshly prepared colorful, some sandwiches had loads of meat and some not soo much but still the taste for me was amazing for a simple deli. So maybe its not so simple to me now. LOL I will definitely come here again and its close to where I live. I had the Turkey Rachel but deviated a bit and replaced turkey with pastrami, and the bread to sour dough. Oh I truly enjoyed it, although Praveen made a good point that usually pastrami is piled high and this was not soo much but I thorougly enjoyed the flavor. The next visit I will get the DON, it appears to be loaded with pastrami! Praveen and I shared our sandwich experiences as he had the Shrimp Concoction. Ooooo is my response, tasty and loaded with large shrimp, not overcooked. I sooo wanted to be greedy and order another sandwich to go, the Philly cheese looked amazing… One Unilocal’ette said it was very good but Kwame compared it to Philly’s in NY and said it wasn’t that good. Something else I enjoy is that Jacks carries Zapp’s chips, love the flavors and hope they will include the Crawtater soon:-) Jacks is reasonbly priced and offer some small deserts and bottled refreshments as well. They have a covered outdoor patio on the side The Philly will also be one my next treats. This place is a lil hidden gem that I must share with others including you reading my review. Take the plunge, you will not be disappointed… my pics alone with make you salivate:-)

I was happy to catch up with a friend here. Unilocal’s app made finding the place easy, and my friend was speculating that«Jack» may be part of a now split-duo that used to own a place on Pharr road. Whatever the case, I enjoyed this place. It really is a deli.(Given that I’ve never really hung out in a genuine NY deli, I don’t really have a baseline for comparison.) The Chicken Philly I had was delicious. It totally hit the spot. Service was good, even if they didn’t yell out my name.(Why won’t they yell out«Godzilla» the same way they yell out«Frank» or «Christine?») Outdoor seating pleasant, but these days it pays to keep an antihistamine handy. I’ll happily go back. Holler if you’re coming with.

I stumbled on this place a couple of years back when looking for a spot to eat brunch at in my hood, and I am glad I did. Jack’s is a gem. This is the one establishment where the food and service is always on par. The Outlaw sandwich is my favorite, and the cheesesteak is legit. I also appreciate you can make changes to your order. Want grilled onions, they got you. Mushrooms on the side, no problem. They are there to please. Can’t say enough about this place other than, VISIT!
