Cato

Quite unexpectedly, this is a great spot for me. Initially, I was skeptical of purchasing clothes in close proximity to my local grocery store. But after seeing my co-​worker consistently come to work in cute outfits from Cato, I was curious.
This is a discount fashion store, and there are many clothing items I don’t like, but there are a ton that I do. There’s lots of color in this store — so if you like bright colors, you are sure to find something here. I do find that I have to look closely for gems for me, but when I find them, it’s a win. I have one shirt from here that probably cost me $ 15 — almost every time I wear it, it gets compliments. I have some great «gold» earrings that have almost an Indian-​style flair that I bought for about $ 6. These earrings constantly get me compliments.
Many of the items here are «on trend» and all of them are inexpensive. For example, when all of the expensive stores were selling items with animal print, so was Cato. I’m now seeing a lot of peplum in department stores — they’ve got peplum at Cato too. They also have cute gifts (watches, notebooks, cups, pens, etc.) and shoes. My one complaint — they don’t carry a lot of petites and small shoe sizes (size 6). They definitely have them, but I have to get there right after their weekly delivery, because apparently there is a small lady who comes in and grabs the great petite items each week.
Oh — they also have little girls clothes. This is nice if you are like me in that you can wear some kids items (cute, cheap tops) and of course, also nice when you have a little girl to buy for.
Lastly, it’s easy to shop here! And the ladies that work here are super nice. There is ample parking — and when you are done, you can head over to the grocery store to do your grocery shopping.
