Went here today and they have no air conditioning. It’s a sauna in the morning, and temps have been in the 90’s. Employees say it’s been broken for 3 weeks. Someone should call OSHA. Management of this location has gone steadily downhill over the last year or so. I won’t be back.

The place is very nice looking and has hipster appeal, but the food is a microwaved mess. I went in for lunch and purchased the turkey club sandwich(panini). The bread appeared to be toasted but was limp, and the bacon was not crispy at all. It is my belief that the bacon was definitely microwaved as it lacked color and crispness, possibly the whole sandwich as well. It was a hot mess that did not taste appealing at all! I deduce that the after the sandwich was pressed, it was then thrown into the microwave(which is what it tasted like) or steamed to hell. This place isn’t worth it to me to visit again. In short my opinion is that Atlanta bread is all style and no substance!

This place is so convenient — I really want them to do better. I went to the bank next door early one morning before heading to the office. Starving, I went next door for coffee and a bagel. Couldn’t take more than 10 mins, right? Wrong!!! There were two people ahead of me in line, one of which at the register. Clearly the patron ordering was a regular because she and the clerk talked casually for over 10 mins while we waited for service. Initially it appeared that there was only one person working. Finally, a few others came out from the back and a gentleman took my order. Again, I ordered a coffee(which is self serve) and a bagel double toasted. I sware to you that he pushed at least 60 – 70 buttons on the register. He even apologized that it took so many buttons to get this order. I make my coffee. It was hot. The supplies were all there and full. I get my bagel and fly out the door. Deeeeepest of deep sighs… my bagel was NOT double toasted it was luke warm. I’m giving them two stars out of generosity and because they were very nice people. However, EVERYONE knows that before work and lunch hours are all about getting in and out quickly. They were far too casual and didn’t give me the correct order. I really should give one star…

Pretty decent for a quick meal! It’s not my first choice but it’s close to my home and the food has been fresh, tasty and affordable. I think I may like it more than Panera even because the portions are bigger. Great coffee too. Service has been friendly when I’ve gone and they aren’t terribly slow. Not much more you can ask for at these kinds of places!

Good customer service, but the sandwich and salad was sloppily made. Extremely disappointing/I see how our establishment have passed them by.

Better ask the prices of the pastries before purchasing. They have them marked lower than what they actually charge you. And basically tell you you’re wrong when you point it out.

Good place to go for breakfast or lunch. The service however is hit or miss.

DONTEATHERE!!! ROACHES!!! I decided to have a business lunch meeting at this restaurant, and will never return. While sitting in a booth facing away from the counter, my lunch guest(facing the counter) said«Big roaches just fell from the ceiling.» I asked her to repeat what she said because I couldn’t believe what I heard. She then said«And fell on the counter.» I immediately turned around to witness the manager(who was on the customer side of the counter) and the associate(on the opposite side of the counter) staring at us. They were obviously trying to see if we witnessed the giant roaches falling from the ceiling. At that point, the manager took a broom and swept the roaches off the counter onto the floor falling beside the associate. The associate then stomped on the roaches. It was like they had a planned method to the madness. It was like a scene out of a movie where you look down at your empty plate and wonder??? I will never return to this place! This was the first time in years since I’d visited Atlanta Bread over Panera, but honestly, I will go back to eating at Panera. This made me nervous and DISGUSTED!

This Atlanta Bread was disappointing… (1) The lettuce in the salad was a bit withered/brown…not bad enough to return, but definitely not what it should have been. (2) I asked for ranch dressing on the side… I got blue cheese on the salad… had to send it back and ask them to do this again (3) It took about 10 minutes to get the salad the second time… way too long for a reorder! (4) The fork/knife they brought me out were dirty… with dried on food on it. (5) Even cleaning out the trash can was a disaster… I watched as the manager and one of the service girls walked by the trash at least a dozen times with it piling up and out of the trash can… to the point that people did not know what to do with their trash… ABC can do better…

I got OGLED by one of the employees who CLEARLY did not learn how to be subtle or professional. First, I get called to the counter and in the MIDDLE of my order, the lady at the counter took a PHONE order, and made me start over. WTH?! Now, I get it-it’s a lunch place that takes call-in orders. But interrupting is *rude*. Not impressed. But, I WAS willing to forgive and forget, as we are all human… However, as I go to the waiting area for to-go orders, the guy taking food out to people dining in asks how I’m doing while blatantly staring me down-or, more to the point, staring down as much of certain assets as he could see under a SWEATER and jeans. And as I waited, he kept turning back to stare me down. I never felt so uncomfortable in my life, and I’m the chick who will throw a drink in a cad’s face, old-school, when needed! I.e., it takes a lot to make me uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Crowning glory-I launched a complaint to corporate, with no response whatsoever. I understand this has nothing to do with the food, which is pretty spiffy for a lunch place, but after that, methinks I will drive further to Panera or Jason’s Deli next time I’m jonesing for a chicken salad sammich… Or, get my Atlanta Bread fix at the Woodstock or Marietta locations where the service has been much more pleasant in my experience.

First off, I LOVE Atl Bread Company, but they have some SERIOUS customer service issues. Pros: 1) Healthy choices 2) Food is always delicious 3) Clean restaurant 4) Great selection 5) Quick service 6) I love the coke machine with a gazillion different choices Cons 1) CUSTOMERSERVICE. The employees always look annoyed that they have to be there, unless I have the nice manager lady taking my order :) Everyone else has ZERO professionalism and it’s a complete joke. Listen, I’ve worked in food service before and it’s difficult to deal with people, but I always was trained to have a smile on my face and have some manners. Employee training anyone? 2) I’ve gotten the wrong order a couple times, which is annoying when you order to go and don’t find out they have made you the wrong thing until you get home. Check your food before you leave.

Fast, clean, good. This store is a good example of the foot that ABC wants to put forward. I’ve been there several times and their food and service is consistently very good. Not out of the box but a good, safe choice for lunch. Cheers, DK

This is a good example of this type of chain(sandwich/bakery). The space is inviting and the staff is friendly. Food delivery is quick. A nice«eat in» lunch place — though I have had them cater business meetings. Broad assortment of baked goods, soups, salads and sandwiches. I have tried almost everything and find it all to be pretty tasty. I usually get the ABC and the chicken Cesar salad is good as well. All around a pleasant experience. Free wifi code on receipt.

This shop reminds me of if panera bread & Starbucks had a baby together. This would be the end result. The eatery is very welcoming, soothing & clean by the way. My chicken sandwich was good & so was my moms chicken & wild rice soup.

This is the first place I’ve been to in Atlanta so far to eat. It’s 8 in the morning, and i’m sitting here Unilocaling because my friend is in a 3 hour mandatory class in Smyrna. I was on the lookout for a Starbucks nearby, but saw this place instead and decided kill the 3 hours here since they have breakfast, coffee, and free wi-fi. The coffee is good. I got the Vanilla Nut and I think I’m on my third cup of joe now. I also ordered a cherry croissant and a Chocolate croissant for my friend on the go, and a breakfast platter for myself. The croissants were Starbucks quality, but I wish they heated it up. The breakfast came with eggs, sausage, potatoes, and toast. I ate barely anything. The eggs were not hot and the potatoes were dry. I munched on toast with butter and jam mostly. Maybe its the fact that I’m still a little jet lagged but I needed to eat.
